We stocked up for the year on our favorites and found a few sweet gifts in their baby section too. It's a joy to support a small business that puts so much care into everything they do. Must-haves: Rosewood Daily Lotion, Citrus All Purpose Cleaner, Sugar Scrub And of course, we always love saying hi to the shop pup Winston and his best friend (we always forget her name!). My daughter was taking a nap in the stroller, but my husband said I should go take a look. The store has a really cozy and warm vibe with all the cute stuffed animals around, and there was another family with a baby in the stroller at that time. They also do customization and will help you sew stuff on. I am not entirely sure how that works but it sounds like a super good idea for baby shower gifts or stuff like that. The only downside is that the stuff here aren't cheap, and a bit on the higher price point. However, I think the quality is worth the $$$. The store is small, but I'm sure you will find something you like as well! I got the knitted chicken and it's super soft! My daughter played with it afterwards and accepted our new "family member" on the way back home.

We had a wonderful time chatting with the owner, Ellen, she was very generous with her time and made sure everyone who walked through the doors felt like they had a personal shopper with them. It was nice to see such great customer service and a wonderfully clean and tidy little shop. One particular item that caught my attention was her painted rocks with charming animals on them. I snagged the "pussy-n-boots" raccoon (not called that but if you've seen Shrek, those eyes are totally there, haha) rock. It's a nice smooth little boulder that makes these painted animals look really cute and pop. I may have to line my entire studio front's sidewalk with these things! Things like spontaneous day trips going to small towns like this to support them put a big ol' smile on my face.
