Additionally, the stalls are so clean! They have everything you need to wash your dog, including shampoo, and brushes, plus a blow dryer/towels to dry your dog off. We got many reminders of our appointment time and were 5 minutes early. They had no previous record of our dog. The groomer was waiting for us. All good. Told 1 1/4 hours. At 1 1/4 later Told they needed 45 more. I asked to use the rest room. I walked past her and she was wet, in a cage and two dogs, that I hadn't seen before, one was on its way out and one was on the grooming table. I should have taken my dog then hindsight! She still had Greek yogurt (don't judge) dried on her face. One eye was well groomed not the other. I can hear her toenails on the floor. I got a discount as an apology for the time. Not going back.

I am a disabled vet so I forgot I had an appointment because I have so many so I tried to reschedule. The lady told my wife in order for me to reschedule. I had to pay $60 so I asked her was the $60 coming out of the full amount she said no and she was very rude and hung up the phone in my wife's face. I called them after just to clarify what my wife told me so I decided not to reschedule and they took $40 out of my wife's bank account anyway. Apparently the reschedule fee should've been $40 but the lady told me 60 I don't know why, that's why I didn't reschedule because I'm not paying that much, but I thought that I would've been treated better just being a loyal customer for so long. But I will never be taking my dog back And honestly, I was never happy with my service, especially for what I've paid, but because I was so loyal to them I took my dog anyway

It was obvious that the new groomer was not happy which I made a comment about when we walked in. Our dog being a larger breed was having a hard time standing as he was sliding all over the floor. We were not gone 5 minutes before receiving a call to say he was unstable and could not get on the table. Well no shit!! We have never had this problem in the past. They didn't even try!! For the $$$ they charge they should have tried something. Extremely disappointing.

My dog was a mess when we first got him: gnarley red ears, bald on his rear end, just miserable coat and skin. He had been badly abused and neglected by his previous owner and came to me with an intolerance toward any form of correction. Despite his hideous appearance and fearful disposition, Wags LOVED the entire staff at Clippets, and they clearly loved him. In the months that followed, Wags grew into a great looking dog with a happy heart. Thanks to good nutrition, a great vet, kindness at home, and care from the Clippets crew. Wags NEVER "put the breaks on" when it was time to visit the groomers at Clippets. His eagerness to go to Clippets was a clear sign to me that even behind the closed doors to the grooming area, the staff genuinely cares for their furry clients. Since those early days with Wags I have continued to bring my dogs to Clippets. They do a great job. Better yet, they use only love and positive reinforcement.

As a dedicated pet parent, finding an exemplary grooming service for my fur babies has always been…read morea top priority. After trying several options in the past, I finally stumbled upon the hidden gem of pet grooming services - Great Neck Pet Grooming. My experience with them has been exceptional, and I am thrilled to share my review. I live in New Kent, VA, but I do not mind driving to Virginia Beach for my doggies spa day. The appointment process was a breeze, and they accommodated my schedule, offering flexible booking and pick-up options. I appreciated the reminder calls and text notifications, demonstrating their commitment to excellent customer service. (You may need to consider scheduling way in advance, some months can be very busy and they may be fully booked). Often, they will try their best to get you in the schedule. From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The reception area was clean, well-organized and had a cozy setup with delightful pet-themed decor. The staff members were friendly, professional, and passionate about their work with pets. My dogs have various needs regarding grooming - Charlie is a brindle Australian Sheppard, and Great Dane mix, and Daisy is a short-haired black Boxer, Lab, and Pit mix. One needs a serious de-shedding, and the other does not want her nails trimmed by me. The groomers were skilled and gentle with my pets, using products suitable for their sensitive skin and coats. They paid particular attention to Daisy's nail trim, carefully trimming her nails without causing any discomfort. From my perspective, the one thing that sets Great Neck Pet Grooming apart from other grooming services is its attention to detail. They delivered on my specific grooming requests and provided an extra touch by taking them out for potty breaks and genuinely caring and compassionate for our pets. Although not every experience is the same, my pets and our experience have been consistent, and I do not mind dropping off my dogs for a spa day at Great Neck Pet Grooming.

We were pleased to see the welcome board and the cubbies for our dogs belongings. We requested a tidy up pkg. Our dog was ready in the time they provided. The staff is amazing. Their facility is well kept and there's room to house your dog while they patiently wait. A report card is handed to the owner on how well your dog behaved, the coat condition, and their temperament. One con, but I'm sure it was overlooked, I requested to get his toe bean fur trimmed on his paws so he can have more grip on hardwood and tile surfaces. I didn't check until I got home. I'll be sure to provide that feedback once we go back again. The corgi butt trim was a bit choppy, but our dog is only five months old. I'm sure it'll get better over time. This was my only reason why I omitted giving a five star. I'll be coming back for sure! What is like to see is more interaction on their Social Media Channels. They do a great job at taking care of our dogs!
