These people seem to have written the book on customer service. From a no water call at 8.30am to…read morecompletely fixed problem at 2.00pm one ferry ride and a small boat ride away from their office was amazing Rees arrived soaking wet from his boat ride in the pouring rain. he had arrived with his tools and the correct replacement unit set to work and was done within a couple of hours. You couldn" beat it Thanks for a job well done

Despite its being first in the list alphabetically of Nanaimo Water System providers, it ranks…read moreabsolutely last in customer service and integrity. This is not a company you ever want to deal with, unless you're anxious to launch a small claims action as I have. They refused to honour a three-year warranty on a UV system controller, stating that the warranty starts when they buy the products they sell and install for you, not when you actually receive them. In my case, I was told that the controller they supplied me with in June 2019 was actually three years and seven months old by April 2022. To quote the Operations Manager: "Warranty is based on installer purchase date, not installation or manufactured on date." How absurd! I refused to pay them $655 to replace the controller, and found one online and installed it myself, saving $133 in the process. At this point my system hadn't worked properly for 18 days. A week after the Operations Manager's response, and four days after I installed my new controller, his boss emailed me and said they wouldn't charge me to replace the controller. I replied that I had already replaced it and requested reimbursement for my expenses or I would sue for them plus court costs. The stunning reply was that "that was (my) decision" and they refused to reimburse me. Not only that, the boss then went into a rather personal accusatory diatribe that was not only incorrect but downright insulting. This from a man who states: "Unlike other companies, we try and (sic) operate with a high level of customer service and honesty." They may say they try, but they fail miserably. Lastly, on the original UV install, they neglected to properly disinfect the system and had to return to do it right after I complained. And on the controller issue above, the tech they sent initially replaced a part that had nothing to do with the problem, saying the part was poorly made back in 2019 when it was installed. It of course didn't make a whit of difference. I only wish there was a "zero stars" option...

I had called this company at least five times to fix Toilet valves, Taps and tub valves. Yes, they…read morecame out and fast fixed the problem. They gave me bills of two to $300 each time. Each time it was a different plumber, older guys that looked like they were experienced and honest. Now I wonder about that. I had to call him twice for one toilet to come out the second time and twice for a shower to come out a second time to fix the leak They just fixed weeks earlier. I figured it was the luck of the draw all my stuff was leaking until I found out why. The valves were leaking because the pressure reducing valve leading into the house was blown and the was 120 psi pressure instead of the normal 50 to 65 psi pressure. Not one guy from Norm's checked the pressure of the water coming into the house, would've found out the pressure reducing valve was blown, causing all these leaks. Apparently, these valves should be tested every 3 to 5 years and replaced if they're leaking. I did not know this because I come from a part of the country that do not use pressure reducing valves. I Called ServiceXCEL once and they spotted the problem right off the bat and brought it to my attention
