A classic true comedy club, and one with a pretty great reputation for top notch talent. We went for The Cutting Edge on a Tuesday night and it was great! Well worth the value, as it was much cheaper than most stand up comedy tickets. On a Tuesday, a lower level of talent is to be expected but these guys were great. And most of the show was improv too, making it even more impressive. This place has an intimate setting where you are right near the stage and practically on the same level. It would be a great place to see one of your favorite comedians, well worth the ticket price for the close proximity and unbeatable atmosphere!

Great evening out! Came here on a Sat evening after dinner with a group of friends. They had 5 different comedians and they were all funny and very entertaining. Sorry, I can't remember any of their names. It was easy to get in and even though it wasn't a full house there were enough people to give the place a great vibe. It was fun to listen to British humour, I do miss that living in Canada.

Without question the best comedy club in London. Try and see the "comedy store players" - usually on once a week. It's a "whose line is it anyway" type show. Bloody hilarious. Great value and a brilliant night out.

OMG. The funniest improv I've ever seen. The Tuesday night show was hilarious. (If you get a pre-ticket, you get food, which is presented strangely - they give you your dish and there might not be anywhere to sit, so people just stand around eating their food. Not the best arrangement.)

They say that laugh heals, so I suggest if you feel sad or in pain, go to The Comedy Store. The place is great and the laugh is granted.

It was surprisingly well organised; I had booked online the day before, and at the door they had my name and then our seats had been pre-allocated and labeled with our reservation too so there was no need to arrive early. When the show got started, it was organised as 4 acts with a break after the first and the third, with the main act at the end. To be honest, all of them were about similar caliber; the first one was quite offensive but still drew a laugh; the second was Kenyan woman who alluded a lot to Africa in general before finally revealing she was from Kenya; the third was a former accountant who was able to rap about dirty math jokes; and the last was an Irish man who cracked some jokes about generic topics like England and falling in love. All in all, it was a good show, running from 8:30 to 10:45. Afterward, they invited the audience to the club downstairs with free entry and a free shot. Note: it got quite hot in the revenue by the end because there was no fan or AC

The stage is set up in an upstairs room that got stuffy really quickly with all the bodies in there! We chuckled throughout the evening and even though everyone has different views on what's funny, there was defiantly something for everyone. I personally wants a fan of the toilet humour, but to each his own, others seemed to find it hilarious! The acts stared at 8pm and we were treated to 10 acts with a 10 minute interval In the middle. The only downfall of the evening was when we all piled out to replenish our beverages in the bar down stairs, we almost missed the start of the second half because there were only 3 members of staff to serve the 100 of us that flooded downstairs! Plus the punters that were just there in the pub. Bad planning!

Three top acts from the comedy circuit plus one of their regular comperes (Craig Murray should be knighted) and a special exclusive kind of atmosphere which you just can't get at the more 'corporate' clubs. My girlfriend (Libby who wrote the first review) and I have now become regulars and the staff who run the comedy are always really friendly and welcoming. Once you know the place, my tip is pay for your tickets over the phone via their booking line, that way you can request which seats you'd like - they can't always 100% guarantee that you'll get what you've asked for - it is a dinky room and they often have odd group sizes to grapple with but its a nice touch nonetheless. Particularly in the Autumn/Winter peak days (Friday Saturday mainly) often get booked up over a week in advance so book early to avoid disappointment. Thoroughly recommended,
