They DO have a cherry picker, however. And lots and lots of other equipment, large and small. Think about this: You can rent a riding lawn mower for far less than buying your own. You won't have to store it and you won't have maintenance costs. The owner -- Steve -- has been working at what used to be his parents' place since, well....high school. Or maybe even earlier than that. Point is, Steve has been a mainstay for rental needs since the 70s. When you walk in, you will see all manner of really cool stuff in the "showroom" area. The place is not exactly "spruced up," but it's not disorganized or dirty. A colorful variety of brand new equipment is always coming in. New home emergency power generators, for instance. You stand at the counter and get waited on quickly, and if you're a free coffee fan, then you'll be delighted (look to the left of the counter). I love just going into this business if for no other reason than to get that free cup of coffee. Oh, and uh, (Columbo speaking) -- just one more 'ting: ALWAYS get the damage waiver.

We were on the Enterprise (which was clean and well kept), and Dave and Aaron were great. There were 10 people on our boat, and almost everyone caught their limits. Mostly rockfish, but also some ling cod. Three times someone caught two fish at once (one on each hook). Our captain (Dave) moved us around a fair amount to put us over fish. Each crab pot pulled in 12 large and delicious Dungeness crabs (after females and too small ones were returned to the water). When you return with your catch, you can get your fish filleted for $1 a piece, and Mark will cook the crabs (perfectly) for $1.25 each. They'll remove the shell and guts if you want, but you can also take the crabs whole. You can get your fillets and crabs to go in a bag, or they can vacuum pack portions for you for an additional fee (I don't know the breakdown, but it was $29 to vacuum pack 12 filets and 20 crabs). Barry let us know that frozen and vacuumed crabs will stay fresh for up to a year. Everyone was really friendly and helpful. We would happily fish with them again.

Just like I recall from decades gone by, the low price brews flow freely and at a very reasonable price. The lady at the bar was friendly and efficient. I guess if I lived close by and was inclined to join the Legion I'd be happy being associated with the guys at this post.

This is one reason why it is so reasonably priced. If you want fancy, this ain't it. The beds are firm but sleepable. I brought my own comforter and pillows because I'm picky as heck and knew theirs would disappoint me. Because they aren't mine. Plus, I used to be a hotel housekeeper and I know how often hotels/motels wash the comforters and fleece blankets..... hint: not often! You can always ask for a clean set from the front desk though and those will likely be clean. I just bing my own if I can though. They allow pets for a $15 fee at the time I'm writing this and charge you $40 if you sneak any in. Tisk Tisk, don't do that, just pay the $15. Cummon. Bathroom was super clean. Water pressure left something (everything) to be desired. Kitchen 8/10 for cleanliness. Be aware that past guests are the ones who do the dishes mmmk? I didn't really use the Wi-Fi either so can't attest to that. Full size fridge and older oven in room 4. Table and 4 chairs. 2 queen beds. Attentive housekeeping. I also highly recommend checking out bread & roses up the street for all natural baked morning goodness! (You're welcome). They were also the best coffee we found during our stay. He did this for all units with or with out kitchens, so there's no way to see which rooms actually have the m ( And no units with actual kitchen were still available.) I discovered that other hotels don't say kitchen , instead they say * In-room microwave * In-room refrigerator So it's really their problem & I paid 50% more than comparable motels because I thought to have the convenience of a kitchen He did offer to book me at another motel, but I declined as it still would 't have a kitchen & the current room other than having thin walls, is otherwise ok
