Easy to order from the screen but they're super helpful if you're stuck or don't know how to navigate it. An old man actually showed up while I was ordering and he had no clue what to do. He must have been in his 80s, it was nice to see how chilled and super patient he was helped by the guy behind the counter, who walked and helped him. Cheers to that. The place itself is so clean and super spacious. Two levels with the WC on the bottom level. The large windows on the top level allow you to seat and watch the street outside. The chairs to lounge are super cozy and comfy. My coffee latte was super tasty and my ham and cheese sandwich was the perfect combination of sweet and savory.

If you add extra toppings they just will not add them. You have to wait over 10 minutes after recieving it for it to melt even to the extent that you can begin breaking up the solid frozen block of acai, banana, granola, and penut butter. Even once it has thawn enought to attempt to eat it, all components are bland and flavourless. Also insanely expensive (£8+) for an approx 7.5 cm diameter bowl of frozen, flavourless slop.

Well, it was a good thing we did, since we didn't get to go back for afternoon tea... Just as the name suggests, it is located right by the canal. It was very picturesque, peaceful and relaxing. They also have seating upstairs, and had histories on the canal, with photos posted all around the wall. Their cakes looked amazing, but I decided not to order any dessert on this day. Yes I know, a big mistake! Our friend ordered Heavenly Hot Chocolate, and it looked so pretty! We went with Teashop House Blend Tea, and Earl Grey. The young boy who brought the teas (I hear this is a family-run business) was trying to very careful not to mix them up. But the funny thing was, he totally mixed the tea up! LOL. We didn't realize until half way through... I thought the House Blend tea tasted so much like Earl Grey. For lunch, we had Ham, Cheese & Chutney Sandwich and Eggs Benedict. They were both tasty, nice portion, and filling. Our friend went with something healthier, and ordered one of their vegan sandwiches. It is nice to have that option if you want or need vegan dish. We had a nice quick lunch here. It was adorable and cozy. The food was good, not amazing, but good. I think the sweets might be better than the actual food...I will never know, unless I go back! Lesson learned: don't never expect your plan to go just the way you planned them...and have your dessert first!

In fact, the visit here was almost literally the icing on the cake... Amongst the blueberry cheesecake, the cake display featured other calorie bombs like chocolate torte, meringue cake or carrot cake - all of which looked temptingly delicious. And believe me: amongst the four of us we tried quite a few of them! But Rumsey's Chocolaterie not only offers delicious cakes and teas, but while you are sitting at the table, you can actually witness how the pastry chefs are preparing truffels and pralines: in fact, I could almost hear the light cracking when they rolled the moist chocolate balls in a tray full of crispy coatings! Yummy! Anyway, if you are ever in Wendover (and I can highly recommend a visit to this cute little town in Buckinghamshire), then do stop by here to enjoy a few moments of pure chocolate bliss...
