When we got there after 20 minutes we still had to wait abut 15-20 more minutes. So maybe they didn't start the order until we came in, who knows. I think that the burritos were a lil pricey at around $11 or so, thy were ok. The pancakes were pretty good, a different kind of texture than regular pancakes.

My coworkers and I have tried this place three times. We've decided it's going to be impossible to add it to the lunch rotation. Okay I have officially found one of my favorite little local gems -- Wild Flour in Bloom & Refill…read moreShop Today felt like the definition of cozy living. I bought chicken scampi today for lunch  and it was ridiculously good. Buttery garlic, lemon, herbs... the kind of meal that makes you slow down and actually sit at the table instead of eating over the computer while working. Comfort food but still light enough you don't feel miserable after. And because balance is important ... I followed it with warm, soft chocolate cupcakes that tasted like childhood and therapy in frosting form. But here's what made the whole day different. I had a friend picked me up their warm spice body wash along with laundry detergent and I wasn't prepared for the experience. It smells like cinnamon, clove, vanilla and just a hint of orange like walking into a cozy fall kitchen. It lingers gently on your skin without being overpowering and honestly felt calming after a long day. Then I tried their rice flour shampoo and conditioner and my hair immediately felt softer not coated, not stripped. Just clean. Rice-based hair care has been used for generations because it: * strengthens hair strands * helps reduce breakage * supports growth * adds shine * improves scalp health * helps tame frizz (YES please) My hair dried smoother and actually looked fuller at the ends. And the laundry detergent... Well washed my towels and later when I grabbed one, my entire bathroom smelled like a spa  warm, clean, comforting  and no harsh chemical scent. Just clean. I love the refill concept too. It feels good to support local, reduce waste, and actually know what you're putting on your body and in your home. Tonight reminded me self-care doesn't always look like a vacation. Sometimes it looks like pasta, a cupcake, a hot shower, clean towels, and supporting a sweet little local shop. Also after reading a few reviews, I want to gently say something. Friends... if a business door is closed, try opening it. If you see someone inside and it's locked, knock and ask the hours. These used to be things we all naturally did -- simple communication and a little grace. And if the only review a person ever leaves anywhere is a negative one... the issue may not actually be the establishment. Small businesses are real people working very hard behind those doors. A little patience and kindness goes a long way. If you're local -- go. You'll thank me later

Tlive more than an hour from this Mexican Bakery. However, this last time I stopped, the experience was not the same. My favorite was the cheese and jalapeño relleno bread. They also carry some with just cheese. So, I asked the employees which were the ones with jalapeños in them. The employee said they all had jalapeño's and cheese. I purchased two of them. When I arrived at home, the bread instead had chorizo and potatoes inside. The taste was so bad and cold. I was disappointed. So, I called the bakery hoping to get replacements of jalapeño and cheese whenever I have the opportunity to stop by there, since it wasn't my fault. The employee told me no. I told her I could take a photo and keep the receipt. Nope, she didn't care. In addition, since I live more than an hour away, I asked the employee for a box to place the bread in, so the frosting on the small cakes wouldn't get messed up. Upon, looking at my receipt at home to call them, I noticed I was charged $2.25 for a thin little box that one gets free for purchasing donuts at a donut shop. If the employee had told me that there is a charge for the box, I would've had her place the bread in bags instead. This Mexican bakery is not a place I recommend to buy from. Take your business elsewhere.
