And because why the heck not, I also got a toffee pecan shortbread cookie. Why eat just one cookie when you can eat two? While I was there, I got probably the best iced tea I've had in a long time: the holy basil tulsi, which was wonderfully green-tasting and mellow. They have a good selection of all kinds of teas, from rooibos to herbal to black to white to oolong to green and more. But if you're looking for something different, I highly recommend the holy basil tulsi! I'm kind of kicking myself for not buying some of that tea while I was there, because I would love to enjoy it at home. They do sell their teas, so if you're smarter than I am, you will get some tea to take home. One of the great things about HumaniTea is that all of their teas are humanely sourced. They are very invested in combating slavery and human trafficking. So you can feel good that the tea leaves you're enjoying were responsibly sourced. That's a feather in your cap (and in your cup). Another neat thing about HumaniTea is that they offer local kombucha by the growler! I don't think I've ever heard of kombucha on tap, so that's pretty unique.

I got mine in a waffle cone, and that was probably the only slightly disappointing part. The cones are pretty small, and honestly, it wasn't my favorite waffle cone compared to some others I've had. But the ICE CREAM makes up for it and then some! There is pretty much always a line here, no matter what time of day you go, but they are incredibly efficient. They move people through quickly, so even when the line looks long, you aren't standing around forever. The inside is so cute and quaint, almost like stepping into an old-fashioned diner or soda fountain. It's bright, fun, clean, and has so much character. I'm still kicking myself that I've never actually stopped here for breakfast or lunch because I've heard their food is worth trying too. One of these days! We ordered from the ice cream side, where they have all of the cones and ice cream treats listed. This place has started as an ice-cream shop.
