Other nearby facilities include a Post Office, Newsagent, Corner Shop, Hairdressers, Cake Shop, and Betting Shop. The Fish and Chip Shop is open both at lunchtimes and in the evenings 5 days a week (closed Sun and Mon). The food is excellent quality, and the staff will cook many of the items to order, which is great as you know the food hasn't been sat there waiting for a long time or re-heated from a previous opening time. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and the prices are more than reasonable.
