The Manager lady was well aware that it was late and we were hours away from the nearest hotel so we had no where to go. She basically strongarmed me into paying for an extra room I did NOT NEED or RESERVE! Our rooms were over 90 degrees and when i asked her to please turn the air on, she SCREAMED at me for not 'wearing my mask" (as if I could breathe with how incredibly hot & stuffy it wasI) and told me to check out if I didnt like it. I told her id be happy to check out with a full refund as we had only been there 1 hour. She refused my offer to leave with my money and then BLASTED the air conditioner (which i liked) until it was so cold we all froze all night. Again, we have a baby with us, it's after 8pm and we are hours from the nearest other hotel and have been driving ALL DAY (5 HRS). This place is RACHET & the owner or whoever she is, is THE RUDEST, most disrespectful & entitled person on the planet!!! There were spider webs EVERYWHERE & obvious the sheets had not been changed. It was so dusty that we couldn't breath or take our clothes out of our bag! Myself & my family have stayed here about 4 to 5 times in the past.. Never a good experience, but NEVER THIS BAD!!! IM APPALLED at Debbie or whatever her name is rudeness and bad attitude!!!! Too bad this is the ONLY B&B / HOTEL in a 45 mile area.. We will NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!! Stay in Safford or Lordsburg!!!

Where to Start?…read more Staff- Helpful and Good attitude Room - Dated by 10 Years or so Not bad. It was Clean for Roadside Motel. No hair's. Bath Drained well. Toilet Clean. Hott water at all hours. Parking- Open but they did have a system by hand and eye to keep track. I did see some trailer parking but not much. Clients - Most are working for the Mine. Traveling skilled Workers. Few families with kids. The Place gets dead at 8PM and comes to life at 4 AM. No crack head or hookers. Bugs and Critters- Yes they have them. Spiders and so on. Nothing crazy, Kinda hard to keep them out since its a desert. If you have stayed in Flagstaff or Las Vegas its the same. On Site- laundry and Vending sodas plus pool. They Do Serve Food. Pretty good. The chinese buffet was gutted at the time of this posting. Food options limited. Most Food Places Closed on SAT and SUN!!!! Jack in the box down the road. Beef is $$$$ in this area Soda and gas cheap. Road is the MSR for the Mines so heavy trucks running in mass all hours and all of the Motels from NM and PHX are along it so theres no way of getting around that..My kid was able to sleep thru it so not that bad.

I contacted them to inform them that I have a service dog and was flatly denied the ability to bring her. The reason. . . they are more concerned about guests with potential allergies. As picturesque and historical as the town of Mogollon, NM is, it appears that service animal friendly they are not. If you have a service dog and can live without their services then staying at the Silver Creek Inn, will be a fun experience. If you cannot be without your service dog then know, at least one group of Inn owners, considers their guests with potential allergies far more important than breaking ADA and Civilc Rights laws. Before my need of a service dog I visited the Inn and was taken on a tour, by the owners of the establishment. It looks clean, well maintained and the hosts were gracious. I am sad to say that I am not one that will be without my service animal and will not be staying there.

Mogollon is a treasure-trove for people who like history and beautiful scenery and the jewel of Mogollon is the Silver Creek Inn. We stayed there two nights (October 17 & 18) and the experience was wonderful. This old and very historic building was built around 1885 and originally served as a store. It eventually became vacated and sat empty for a number of years until the new owner (Stan) bought it and with the help of a few compadres, restored and converted it into an inn. I can't even imagine the amount of work it took, but they did an outstanding job. My wife and I stayed upstairs in a large and very comfortable room on the northeast corner. The adjoining bathroom was beautifully done and offered me a shower that was easy to step into and out of. The bed was very comfortable and the room quiet offering a great view off of a balcony having a second set of stairs if one wanted to go to the ground floor. Adjoining our room was a library having a lot of shelves and books and a very cool moving ladder that can travel across the front of the selves. The library also has a very beautiful coffee table and more books are kept there having stories about the people who came to Mogollon years ago to find their fortunes in or earn a living in the mines that are in the surrounding area. Our host, Susie was the highlight of our trip up here and worth the long drive just for the pleasure to visit with her. She runs a tight ship and i am glad that after all these years and trips of visiting Mogollon, that I was finally able to spend several nights in this interesting ghost town and this really nice inn.

Baseboard was falling off the door. Restroom light never worked. Lock handle kept falling off. Carpet felt gross like it was shampooed but not dried properly. Room was super dusty. You'd think after telling someone at the front desk they would change your room or something, but no Only that was good was the coffee. Breakfast was horrible. Everything that is leftover is just reheated back up again for the next day. Waffle mix is never changed. Waffle Batter was this weird gray separation thing going on. Pretty gross. Gravy is more like grits. Hash browns are just reheated in microwaves Find it weird that the only way to get to the pool is by going through the bar. Checked in around 3pm Went down to the pool around 6pm and enter the bar to go to the pool and you have nothing but eyes on you. It's pretty weird. Pool is trashy. There is no pool towels available. Ask the front desk and they'll hand you any towels they can find. Broken glass all around the basketball court. Spend your money else where and go somewhere else.
