1 star - Do NOT recommend Malibu at Martin Apartments…read more Biggest issues: 1. Constant water shutoffs. In under 2 months we got notices on June 1, June 2, June 5, June 18, June 29, July 17, and July 20. Sometimes for hours with "no estimated time" for service to return. You can't cook, shower, or flush during the day. Management sends apologetic texts, but the problems don't stop. 2. Ignored repair requests. I put in maintenance requests that were never addressed. So basic upkeep doesn't get done, but there's time for other things. 3. Maintenance staff behavior. They frequently drive around the complex in circles and it feels like residents are being watched/surveilled. It's creepy, unprofessional, and makes the environment uncomfortable. Save yourself the stress and look elsewhere in Huntsville.

It's taken a while to get repairs made but Erin made sure to let me know the timeline and I have never felt like I wasn't a priority. I realize that this is not the fault of the office due to shortages for almost everything now but it has been an inconvenience to have a damaged ceiling. The location of Arch St is good because I am close to work and downtown. I moved to Huntsville not knowing anyone but Erin (and Chelsea) made great recommendations for nightlife and things to do. When I moved in, I felt welcomed and that made me feel like I made the right choice in choosing Arch Street as my spot.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Villas at Nature Walk! The ladies in the leasing office,…read moreVallery, Alex, and Liz, were always helpful and professional; they made me feel welcome from day one. The property maintenance team were always quick to respond to my service requests, and performed regular maintenance, such as the replacing air filter. As an avid runner, I found that there were ample opportunities to go out for a run, either on the property around the walking trail, which is about 0.8 mile, or just outside the property with the new sidewalks that have been constructed on Martin and Zierdt Roads. The community is very quiet and most residents are friendly; they like to walk their dogs around the walking trail and socialize in the dog park. There is a sizable elderly population, so at times it feels like a retirement community, which I did not mind, because I enjoyed interacting with my elderly neighbors. If you work at the Redstone Arsenal, Gate 7 is only 1.2 mile from the property, so I rode my bike to work on several occasions. Also, there are several active duty and military veterans living at The Villas at Nature Walk, whom I enjoyed meeting and getting acquainted with at the various community social events. When I left, in August 2021, the Phase 2 expansion was underway, so several units will be added in the near future. I am interested to see how this expansion will affect the community dynamics that I grew to love while I was a resident. If I ever return to live and work in Huntsville, Alabama, The Villas at Nature Walk will be my first-choice apartment community!
