The team here is constantly improving the property--they recently power-washed all the sidewalks (something I've never seen at other apartments!), and they host fun social events at least once a month. Yes, there are fees for not following community rules, but they're just in place to keep everything clean and well-maintained--no issue if you're a responsible adult! Maintenance is outstanding. Since I work in Decatur, my aunt sometimes stops by to walk my dogs if they need access to my unit. The team always communicates with her to schedule a convenient time instead of leaving her waiting around--such a considerate touch! The staff member who conducted the walkthrough with me did not note any problems at that time. Specifically, I was later charged for an "excessive odor" in the apartment. However, during the walkthrough, the staff member did not detect or mention any odor concerns. If there had truly been an issue, it should have been clearly communicated to me at that time so I could address it. CHARGING ME AFTER THE FACT for something that was neither documented nor discussed during the walkthrough feels unfair and unprofessional. I respectfully request a detailed explanation and proper documentation supporting these charges.
