UCC coffee has selection of custom roasted artisan coffees. Great selection from various levels of…read moreacidity. Apart from asian versions like Kopi from Sg and HKG style milk tea and filter coffee blend. The service is good and ambiance is casual. You can work or just relax at any time of day

I knew of UCC because of anime so I wasn't expecting a real storefront in Cebu at all! Once I…read morerealized this place was a real franchise, I learned to appreciate the establishment more and the products. Coming to two locations in Cebu, you can see the Japanese influence and community in the region with other Japanese coffee and cafe shops around the area. This location is my favorite because of the big space with lots of seating, the fact that they're open late (pre-COVID-19), and the fooood! I wasn't sure if a coffee commercial brand would have delicious food but here we are! It reminds me of my old eats in NY with their casual sandwiches. Being that they are a coffee company, they serve coffee all day and night! Great for late night chit chats, study nights, night craves, and those who need a pick-me-up after a long day at work. Service here is accommodating and nice. We came here three times during our stay and would gladly recommend and come again when in Cebu City. The ambience is super chill that you will see students chatting and working here. I've only come here late night for a quick bite and for some coffee. I've tried their desserts like their ube cheesecake (made like the Japanese cheesecakes with a Pinoy touch) and their salmon croissant. They make various kinds of coffee styles from Japanese pour overs to Spanish lattes to Vietnamese coffee. I have enjoyed their Hong Kong style coffee and Filipino local coffee. If you take your espresso drinks seriously, this is a fun place to go (although commercial and not in the category of Cebuano specialty coffee scene). They serve salads to rice dishes to baked goods. It's a fun place to try some innovative Japanese inspired Filipino-infused dishes. Open late. CR available. Good for work/study but loud! Mangaon ta!

Located right outside the lobby of Tsai Hotel, we rushed in as hunger struck. We were staying at…read moreTsai and saw adverts stating that guests get a 15% discount, so we decided why not. You order at the front then wait for your food to arrive at your table. We advised the cashier we stayed at Tsai and showed them our room key, they had another promo going on where you buy a drink and a meal you get dessert for 1 peso. We opted for the meal+drink promo, apparently you can only choose either or for the promos. Either you do the 15% off for being a Tsai Hotel guest or you choose the combo promo, you can't have both. We ordered chicken parmesan, chicken pesto (creamy), a latte, hot tea, strawberry cake, and chocolate cheesecake. The spaghetti for the chicken parmesan packed flavor. You can taste every bit of garlic.. yum! Chicken was moist and tender in the inside and crispy out. The chicken pesto was equally as good. Chicken was also moist and tender, sauce was of good consistency. The strawberry cake was off the chain, it was so soft and you can actually taste the strawberry flavor. Cake was of good portion. The chocolate cheesecake bar was ok, the size was more on the side of like 1 bite or 2, but the bar itself was also moist. I'd say Tazza is of convenient location if staying at Tsai and will come back again to try their other menu items.
