Skip the chocolate tour and go here to see people making chocolate, learn a little about the chocolate making process, and buy some sweets. My seven-year-old daughter loved buying the number seven out of chocolate and chocolate lip balm.

Whoever says "meh" to chocolate hasn't been here. With so many fresh praline and plain chocolate options, including beverages and some throw back candy-bar copycat style packaged treats you are sure to find yourself a lil something something. Or, several somethings! Normally I'm all about the plain chocolate options but this place has some unique flavors~ Banana caramel praline? Yes. Coffee praline? You bet. Yuzu (orange) Yuuuup.

Rated the best chocolates in Belgium. They have a variety of chocolate flavors including tobacco. It's easy to spend a lot of money here. With all of the choices for chocolate, this place is a good one.

The Chocolate Line has been one of the more established chocolatier in Bruges. I first visited Bruges in 2008 and read this is one of the chocolate shops known for experimenting different flavors. Now 16 years later they're still at it. The shop itself has gotten much fancier. I imagine due to over tourism and all the hypes b/c this is actually one of the finer chocolate shops in Bruges vs. many just look fancy but no quality. They're constantly changing flavors. We bought two sets of the 100g I think boxes and filled at least two dozen chocolates. My favorite was the "Deadly Delicious", a dark chocolate shell in the shape of a skull with blueberry and currant filling. I will say most of flavors are spot on and it's fun to try spices and flavors that you normally don't associate with chocolate. However, the the flavored centers are either praline (a bit on the gritty side, i prefer smooth) or liquidity jelly, not as refined as I'd like. the chocolate shell can be more velvety too. I do think this place has become overly commercialized over the years. Nonetheless, it's a fun visit to the shop. I usually don't promote another brand in my reviews. I'm a dark chocolate aficionado and I can't help myself here... for high quality chocolates especially dark chocolates with smooth velvety pralines i recommend Galler Chocolate.

This place here is a popular spot. Chocolate, Pralinés and sweets as far as you can see. Went in to buy a good load of different Pralinés. And yes, they do look like pieces of art. Well, they are. Wonderful designs. A real feast for your eyes. There are countless options and countless different fillings. Chocolate, caramel, creamy, fruity etc. We weren't really a fan of the fruity ones (Framboise, Appeltje). So the classic chocolate-filled pralinés (Arthur, Carasel, Creole) were our favourites. Belgium chocolate is famous. World famous. Some say they beat the Swiss chocolate. Well, even though nice looking and tasty, I must say that it's still not a competition for Swiss chocolate so far. Not as creamy, not as milky, not as smooth. But it's a nice shop. A makes very very nice gifts. But to treat ourselves I have to say a one-time visit was enough though.

The Chocolate Line was such a cool place to visit. They make really cool chocolates and made a Yuzu chocolate voted best in the world this year. They have also made "official" chocolates for the Rolling Stones. The chocolates are very unique with interesting combinations and presentation. They also had regular chocolates, bars and gifts. Honestly, it was a bit overwhelming for me and I didn't know what to do or where to start. How lucky that Julius was the one to help me/us. He was so patient and offered his suggestions and even when another patron was being impatient and rude, he made sure to make me feel like the top priority. I felt like I was at some high end clothing store and he was my personal shopper. He was great and his suggestions did not disappoint with interesting and unique flavors. My husband is not as adventurous, but definitely tried all suggestions. The Yuzu chocolate was very good and I'm glad we got two! I would come here again! Thanks Julius!

What a cute shop! This shop offers so much! You can see the production line for chocolates and check out how chocolates are processed/made. There is a wide range of single origin chocolates to choose from and the service is top notch friendly! It is very busy here but they are also adequately staffed to serve the customers. The window display is absolutely adorable and the decor feels welcoming and homey. I highly recommend this shop! Get some chocolates, too!

If I could give this place a 6 star I would. Best chocolates, best service. Every chocolate is a piece of art and tastes heavenly. I purchased from several shops in Brussels, Ghent and Bruges recommended by locals and none of them compare to the Chocolate Line. I wish they had a store in Montreal. Do not hesitate to check this place out. You won't regret it.

For my money, the best chocolate shop in Bruges. Any flavor your heart desires, including sake, coca cola, and hemp, as well as your more traditional pralines and ganaches. This shop is especially fun as they have cool displays and you can see them making complex creations in the back. Staff was efficient and used to tourists. I had a few to share on the spot and was a little bit nervous about my take-home "My Way" box as our pieces melting on our fingers... however, my box held up well throughout the rest of my un-climate-controlled travels and an extra week in the fridge at home. Delicious stuff-- try the Miss Piggy, Havana, and Asian Confetti. I would hit up The Chocolate Line for interesting gifts (for yourself or others), Neuhaus or Dumon to try more traditional high-end chocolate, and the touristy street by the Grand Place to grab treats to give away to friends and coworkers.
