I received a $50 JCPenney gift card for Christmas, but shortly after the first of the year the Huntsville, AL JCPenney closed and I didn't have an opportunity to use my gift card. I really liked the merchandise selection and they had all sizes at the Tupelo store. I was able to quickly find what I wanted in my size and desired colors. So I would give 4 stars for the store and merchandise. The check-out process was not so great. It took forever to checkout, not because they were busy but because the JCPenney checkout process is atrocious. It took three cashiers to finally check me out and the card swipe process because I was using a gift card is horrible. I almost gave up and walked out. So I would give the personnel and check out process 2 stars. So 4 stars and 2 stars average to be 3 stars.

It's all behind electronically accessed gates, etc. The office is up front with reasonable hours, and friendly and helpful management. Like other bigger or reputable storage chains, expect to have to use a particular type of lock, and carry insurance on your unit for a small fee.
