Since he's the only doctor (he does have several medical students on staff though) it does take a while to be seen, but once he comes in, he spends plenty of time with you and your child and builds a friendly relationship with them. He's very kind and gentle and is genuinely concerned about children's' health and happiness. His office staff are excellent also. Their names are DeeDee and Michelle. Both remember every child and greet them personally when they come in. They're bouncy and bubbly and help put children at ease. Their office is small but colorful and decorated with large murals from popular children's shows and images of famous athletes. There are only a few rooms, so again there is usually a wait, but every room has something for the children to look at. There's also a cute room just for healthy children so they don't have to wait out in the main waiting room with the really sick kids. The ONLY downside is the wait. I've spent 2.5 hours here with one child, including the visit with the actual doctor. I'm a pretty impatient person though and I've never felt like the quality of care we've gotten wasn't worth the wait. They purposely schedule appointments 30 minutes apart to try to offset this and accommodate walk-ins. I'm very glad I switched my children to this place, and wish I'd done it sooner!

Our first visit to Suburban Pediatrics was great. The receptionist was quick with the paperwork. They have two waiting areas for the little ones; one for sick patients and another for well patients. Each room has an activity table and a television pumping out kid-friendly shows. The fish tank that separates the rooms is my little guy's favorite feature! We were taken back to the rooms, all of which have different themes. Each room has a wall painted with old-school chalkboard paint for the kids to go crazy on while waiting to see the doctor. The wait wasn't long at all! We've seen 3 different doctors here so far, and each one was awesome. Their bedside manner with kids is superlative. My little one likes to squirm worse than a worm on hook, but the doctors were quite engaging and he actually stayed still enough for a complete check (...and the doctors won't share their secrets!!!) They are also part of the CMC network, so patient info can be accessed from other affiliates as needed. All around, one of the finest doctor's offices I've been to, and it's even better that it's for the important little people in our lives.

If you decide to bring your child here I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Sullivan. She is amazing. She takes her time every time, listens to all your questions and concerns, gives great advice, doesn't ever try and rush you out, and makes you feel so loved and cared for. My kids love her too! I wouldn't ever want to take them to anyone else. The nurses here are amazing as well and always give the best experience. You can tell they love working with kids and last but definitely not least, the front desk staff. They are so nice and loving. They know my kids by name without even looking at their schedule. They're so friendly and work hard up there.
