However, once that was smoothed out our group really enjoyed the round. There are many great views, an open layout, several elevated tees, and well maintained greens. It is the right amount of challenging without being frustrating. The ranger was diligent in trying to maintain some space between groups. Also, a nice set up for food and drinks with friendly staff and even picked up a nice new polo from the pro shop.

We even snuck in a few mulligans as I'm positive no Marshall would object. They were probably happy to get the revenue in the first place! A nine hole riding loop will run you $25. Eighteen riding for $40. In the summer their Wacky Wednesdays only cost $20 for nine riding. My oldest nephew commented on how tight the greens were, but they were in excellent shape. The fairways needed a trim. This late in the season that's too be expected. The grass is going dormant. IDK about that, I just chase the stupid little ball and talk life with my boys. For the slopes, they had so many lines for all different level of skiing. They had multiple sides to the mountain and even had a bar at the top that offered alcohol, snacks, non-alcoholic drinks and even chili and hot dogs. I am at a beginner level and the green lines were still a tad more difficult, but everyone going down looks out for everyone. I was very impressed with the ski patrol as a fell quite a few times and they were there to check on me. The area itself was very clean and again, everything is easily walkable. I noticed an outdoor playground for the kiddos when it's warmer out to play on. The food options here are good. Almost everywhere was a bit crowded, but we were able to wait for our food and then take it back to the Airbnb. I was very impressed with this place on every level. I will be coming back and staying longer next time.

This was a time saver. -Do get to the mountain by mid-morning to secure close parking, maximize your ski time, and enjoy the runs before the crowds arrive (and they will). -Do consider coming on a Wednesday. A lift ticket in 2026 is only $45 versus the $105 I dropped for a Saturday. Shout-out to the ski staff for their overall hospitality and making sure folx got onto the lifts quickly and safely. It appeared to be a smooth operation. Another shout-out to the ski instructors who transformed my nieces into skilled skiers in just one lesson. Though this was my first time at Crystal Mountain, it will not be my last.

Great golf course with immaculate greens…read more However, the staff were some of the rudest and most unbearable I've ever encountered at a golf course. For 180 bucks I would've expected much friendlier service. The girl at the cart return did not want to be there, and was noticeably frustrated when I asked for a bucket of balls.....not sure what we did to frustrate the staff but at the front desk, bar, and cart return everyone seemed pretty bummed and not happy to be at work. Otherwise great golf course and a 9/10 hot dog.

As a group you can take a run and plan to meet friends/family right back to the top. Enjoy the fire pit along the way to the red lift if you need a quick warmup. The food is basic and nothing real special to make mention the of. I find it overpriced which matches with other resorts that continue to do the same. I'd plan to bring food and beverages and avoid eating here if you can help it. Great place to ski
