As we aren't Jewish, our search was a little more challenging since we aren't plugged into the community, and many a mohel will not perform medical circumcisions. Rabbi Karesh was very warm, professional, and thoughtful as he met with us prior to the procedure to answer questions, then on the day of the procedure, and with follow up questions that your typical freak-out parents had. I cannot recommend him enough. If you are looking to circumcise your son, he is a great option. I don't know if anyone will see this review, since it's a pretty small number of folks who would look on yelp for a mohel to perform a circumcision, but I'll throw this out there into cyberspace nonetheless....

Rabbi Phil new exactly what he was doing. He made sure everything was sterile and clean. He made sure my wife and I knew exactly what to do with the aftercare. He followed up with us to check on our son. The circumcision/Brit/Bris went smoothly and wonderfully. My son barely made a peep. He put my wife at ease! Everything went wonderfully and I would recommend him to anyone. Everything healed quickly and perfectly! AAA+++

What I didn't expect, that was SUCH an added bonus - is his extremely likable personality and compassionate bedside manner. Dr. Howard is so very genuine. His traits have proven to mean more to me than I ever could have imagined as a 39 year old woman going through a scary time in her life (breast cancer diagnosis). Dr. Howard's entire staff has just been such a joy. I truly feel cared about there and listened to. From the receptionist, Kerry, to the PA, Bri, to the nurse Sylvia -- they are all so awesome. For having to go somewhere that I wish I never needed to be.. I sure am extremely grateful to have them as part of my team. I feel so very confident with them navigating these seas with me!

Nothing is more evident in the ability of a plastic surgeon than pictures and thus I post a picture of my results with this incompetent surgeon after he deformed my chest. As you will see, he resected too much on the right chest leaving the skin stuck to the muscle and on the left chest he was so aggressive in fat removal excessive scar tissue formed as a result and hardened so severely I couldn't lift my left hand vertically above my head. No one should ever see this doctor for male chest reduction given these results, which I would grade an F.

Brooke humbly introduced herself via a private moms group on Facebook in response to my inquiry (well, plea) for help, for my three year old son. When you are thrust into the world of autism, it is extremely overwhelming to navigate and ensure your child has the right mix of services, with the right educators; who understand, care and believe in your child as an individual. Fortunately, in Illinois, most ABA (Applied behavior analysis) therapies are covered by insurance, but my biggest fear was, "Will they truly SEE my child, or will he be just another number, repeating scripts at a table?" Not when your child is part of the Orange Therapy family. Brooke, the director of Orange Pediatric Therapy, prides herself on creating an environment that operates and feels like family. For instance, she gave me her cell phone during our informational session! She texts clients. She is attentive, determined, enthusiastic, KIND and in lock-step with her team. Her clinic, much like her, is bright, warm, fun and purposeful. My 3 yo son is thriving, under Brooke's leadership and her "family" of licensed therapists, who are rigorously vetted and mentored under her wing. Orange also serves as a practicum site for the supervision and training of grad students. They are so lucky to have the BCBA's they do to be teaching and learning from. They truly are learning from the best of the best. There is no revolving door here and everyone is just happy! Through Brooke's unique approach to ABA therapy, which is based in play and utilizes floor time, my son is focusing, requesting, turn-taking, using eye contact and responding to his name - and, most importantly, he is HAPPY. And, we are, too - because we know he is in the absolute best hands with Brooke and her team.

My son who has autism has been seeing Brooke for a good 5+ years. His progress has been tremendous, he has learned so many things and we have tackle so many obstacles. She has seen him grow up, she has helped him overcome so many things. Thank you so much Brooke.
