I assumed her shoes were small, but a week after replacing her shoe collection with the next size up she was still complaining. One night she begged me to make a dr appointment to figure out what was wrong with her toes. I called Dunn Foot & Ankle since Brian Dunn came recommended by many friends. I called on a Friday and they were able to squeeze her in for an appointment the next Monday! Considering how hard it is to get doctor appointments these days that alone is worth 5 stars. We showed up a few minutes early for our 11:10am appt and saw Dr. Dunn within promptly. She explained her toe issues and he took a look at her feet and immediately knew what the issue was- a combination of flat feet, bunions and a lot of tennis! Unfortunately, she had inherited my flat feet issues. Fortunately, he had a solution. He fit her for custom orthotics and showed me a toe spacer to buy on amazon that she could wear when playing tennis. The orthotics will take 3 weeks to arrive, but she tried the toe spacer at tennis tonight and said they already feel much better! I've actually been meaning to get custom orthotics for my flat feet myself so he even squeezed me in right after my daughter. I look forward to picking up our orthotics in a few weeks and had an amazing experience. I can see why Dr. Dunn has so many fans!

Last week I decided to look on Yelp to see who yelpers recommended and filled out the contact info for Dr. Miller. Literally 2 seconds later Dr. Miller himself called and we made an appointment for the following week. Impressive! Dr. Miller's office is conveniently located right of the highway and right next to Old Orchard mall for those who love to shop (a little too cold for an outdoor mall today IMO). There is plenty of parking out front and he's located on the 3rd floor. He was right on time for my appointment and appears to be a one man show right now since he's on the hunt for a new receptionist. Fortunately, that doesn't seem to be slowing him down. He took care of my foot issue (turned out to be a deep callous) and I wondered what took me so long to make the appointment. While i was there he also worked on a few other callouses, since he said he'd throw them in for free :). I also inquired about custom orthotics for my flat feet. He showed me some options and said he would check with my insurance to see how much they would cover. I plan to call back in a week and go down the orthotics route with him soon too. I asked what the #1 foot issue people come to him for and he mentioned an ingrown toe nail. My son had one recently that got better on his own, but glad we have someone to turn to if we run into a similar problem. He's good at what he does, very nice and fast. I was in and out of there within 20 minutes!

His front-desk person was friendly and efficient as she had been on the phone when I made my appointment. Dr. Miller was personable, thorough and attentive to my concerns. After a detailed examination, which included an assessment of the blood flow to my feet, he not only removed the calluses but also took care of other foot problems. The positive effect of his care was immediate. I highly recommend Dr. Miller to anyone in need of podiatric care.

I had a problem w/foot fungus which was treated by Dr Amarantos who has retired in my absence. I didn't have the need to go back until recently when the ugly beast reared its head again. Dr Amarantos was an awesome doctor & I was sad to see him go. He was always super personable, dressed impeccably all the time & very professional. I haven't had the need to come back but alas Mr Fungus is back. I had a different doctor Dr Bongiovanni who I felt was rather brusk in his bedside manner. Looks like there's a different doctor in town. I'm not sure how this will continue or if I'll be back???

Awful. I slammed my pinkie toe badly .. normally would have just tried to ignore the pain, but the…read moretop of my foot bruised and others said go in. So I did .. first mistake. MUST be there 1/2 hour early - cannot call the location AT ALL - you have to go thru a number that doesn't actually go to the location. When I thought I was going to be a few minutes late, I tried calling while at a light to warn them and you would have thought the end of the earth was there ... you won't be there 1/2 early?? You can't call the location, but we will try to let them know ... WHAT? By the way, they will take a pix of your drivers license and ALL insurance cards .. which took @ 5 minutes. The rest of the time they want you to fill out really dumb surveys. Here's something humorous - since I'm a senior, one of the survey questions was do you ever feel suicidal? IT'S MY TOE, NOT ANXIETY!! Had a 3pm appt, got there at 2:35 ... sat till 3:30 (so glad I had to get there early) .. with only one other person coming in .. even the receptionist was sarcastic when the nurse came up asking her if I was ready ... "she's BEEN ready!" Taken in, said I smacked my toe .. didn't do a visual, just said lets go get the xray! I said, well, would like the DR to look at it .. she gave me a funny look, then said OK .. and I asked what would happen if it was broken (which is the only reason you'd get an xray) and she said they would just tape it. When I how much for the xray - she said @ $98.00. I said it seemed silly to have it xrayed if all they would do is tape it - and she said she saw my point. Interesting. 15 minutes later in walks the Dr Frank Bongiovanni .. talked so fast I wondered where the overthetop friendliness came from .. and then saw I hadn't had an xray! Apparently a cardinal sin. I said, well, I thought you could at least examine it - after all, Dr's will usually examine you, at least ... to wit, he said NO - people don't do that anymore. WOW. That kind of frightened me, to be honest. What happened to Doctors? I asked what he thought the cost was (I'm a senior, but I wanted to see what he said) .. he acted irritated, said he said he didn't want to get into a debate about cost (wasn't a debate - it was a question), but he thought around $40. I got tired of the runaround, so I said fine, let's get the danged xray .. but what will you do if it's broken? He said tape it. WOW x 2. He saw the look on my face and said I can show you how to tape it! Yanked my toes apart (PAINFUL), put some tape on, said you can have the rest of the roll - if it doesn't heal we can worry about it then. Stellar. Now, I awaited the bill for non service. Just got my summary from Blue Cross .. These people charged $289.60 to Medicare (for basically 10 minutes of TALKING and a small roll of leftover tape) - he, prior to showing me how to wrap it - WOULDN'T EVEN GLANCE DOWN AT THE TOE! I am dead serious - he stared over my shoulder like looking at the toe would give him cooties or something. Medicare paid $115.84 (but it looks like it went to a deductible?) .. and Blue Cross (my other plan) says I "may" owe Weil $115.84, as it wasn't covered by theirs. Don't get their math, but, whatever. I am interested to see if they try to bill me for this "visit", as I will then get Medicare involved considering there was MINIMAL attempt at care .. by the time I took the long walk back to my car, his "wrapping" had already come off. Maybe they'll say the tape cost that much. MONEY GRAB - absolutely disgusted with both this facility AND this Doctor. I do find it kind of funny that somehow silver hair translates to them as being dumb. My advice is to run (if you can) far, far away.
