This morning I showed up for the skills portion for my BLS certification course at Safety Training…read moreSeminar and had a mixed experience. The room itself was very clean and comfortable, making it a good environment to learn and complete the training. Unfortunately, the biggest issue was access to the facility. The person responsible for opening the suites did not arrive on time, which caused a delay for my appointment. I called the number provided, and although they attempted to reach her, she did not answer. I also tried calling multiple times with no response. The Safety Training Seminar member I spoke with over the phone mentioned they could reschedule me for a later time if needed since they could not reach her and were unsure of why the suite was closed. She eventually answered my call, this being after 9:30 AM, stating she was sick and had just opened. While I understand things happen, it was frustrating having to wait and ask nearby businesses for help especially when someone mentioned this isn't the first time the door hasn't been unlocked and she " tends to forget " so I'm not sure how true her statement of being sick was especially since she answered my call extremely rude and then hung up I hope this issue is addressed moving forward, as the training itself and the facility were otherwise good.

There's a reason she doesn't have reviews--she's not legitimate. Last night I texted her if she has…read moreany openings and she told me there is one. She had a promo for new clients of $40 for any readings. I contacted her because I still needed clarity that the first two people I went to could not provide. She asked me to send her $40 through CashApp or Zelle and I obliged. I sent her the money and she told me she's finishing up with a client. I should've seen the red flag. She was responding to my text WHILE she was with a client? How's that possible? Anyway, she then texted me that she will call me in the next 15-25 minutes and thanked me for my patience. So I wait, 9:30 rolls in and she didn't call. I followed up with text, no response. Now it's getting closer to 9:45 pm, no response. I followed up again with a text, no response. Now it's 10 pm. I followed up again and no response. I texted again and no response. I told myself giver her another ten minutes although my gut was telling me "nah that's too late." and I was right. DO NOT ask for phone readings from her. Do not use CashApp or Zelle because your bank cannot dispute that. Any psychic worth their scent will have credit card payments on their website because if they can't deliver the services, you can stop that payment so they don't get it. I paid her money for services to which she failed to deliver. If there was an issue that should have been communicated with me. I texted her to give me a refund, it is now 10:30 am and there is still no response from her. I doubt she'll refund my money. For someone who claims they're there to help, not communicating is a big as* red flag. DO NOT use her services. Her name on her CashApp is different from "Anne's"-- why are your names different? Sh*** that's another red flag I ignored. She took advantage of my confusion about my situation, took my money and ran. If she has a rebuttal, I'd like to hear it so I can counter and provide proof of my claims--which are true. Look at the time stamps on the photos. You have been warned.

My 6 year old daughter has shown an early interest in mathematics. She has been number crunching…read moreat Stockton Montessori (preschool) since she was 4 years old. When she entered Kindergarten, the level of mathematics that was given to the students made her bored. She was doing the same things that she had done as a 3 year old and wasn't learning anything new. I started to see her enthusiasm for math dwindle at an alarming speed. Prior to enrolling my child in Kumon, I supplemented my child with first grade workbooks bought from the local Parent-Teacher supply store and Amazon. She completed the books fairly quickly and I was left trying to guess what our next path would be. Instead of letting my child's spark for learning burn out, I decided to try out Kumon so that she could learn new concepts (and math tricks). I also wanted her to be surrounded by motivated, hardworking older kids -totally different from our home learning environment. I read on the internet that most children either have a love or hate relationship with Kumon. Surprisingly, my daughter is excited to go to Kumon Lodi and likes doing their worksheets. Mrs. Hsieh is an amazing educator. I was taken aback by how amiable and patient she is with all the children under her wing. The guides/tutors that are employed at this center are also very kind and approachable. I feel 100% confident that I made the right choice to enroll my child at this particular center. [I cannot sing the same praises for Stockton Kumon.
