I was honestly amazed by how educated the instructor is, Holly. She is also really entertaining, lol. I would definitely take her over and over again if there is a chance. I had BLS here today with Dawn and she was just excellent. Throughout the many, many times I have taken the class (or any AHA class for that matter) I have never had an instructor who was so informative; they basically just tell you "this is the way it is" without telling you why. Dawn would explain how things were done and then further explain the rationale behind it. The kind of learner I am, I need to understand the "why". If I had had her for my very first BLS class, I would have been more confident at the start of my career. read more

Registration was simple and I was able to sign up with with short notice. Class was efficient and thorough.

I went there for my pals and they kept changing my day to go. When I finally went in after I did everything on line and past the test on line the instructor started questioning me on the blocks and did not validate my test that I did on line. He stated "how do I know if u did the test". read more

This is my 4th renewal class that I have taken with these guys and they are awesome! I've worked with Sam and Sean on all 4 classes and they were great every time. Their facility is clean and they keep the room at a nice comfortable temperature. They also provide snacks and have a fully stocked fridge for the participants. If you want to learn and have fun this is a great class to take. Chris was great and made it more about reality then about just learning the skills. He made it engaging and great way to spend the 4 hours needed to learn the basics. I came away with what I needed to and wasn't bored at all. My instructor was Briana Hernandez. I was updating my certification because it was cheaper than another place where I went to do it at. I dreaded the time frame but it was worth the money I saved. I spent $80 and opted to receive my book on the day of class. First off, we started right on time, books were distributed, class was introduced nice and clear. I dreaded ZERO of the minutes I was there. Briana was on course with the material and was clear while speaking. Her professional and fun personality made the class enjoyable. She offered us the snacks as needed, didn't have her phone out, followed her own rules, was 100% interactive with our hands on BLS training. My previous certification was 4 hours of time spent dreading every minute, the instructor was so boring I was having difficulty staying awake. If you're going to choose a place to certify, first timer or updating, choose this place and choose Briana if you can. Location was easy to find, in a business build on the corner with the Life First logo on the window. A little bit down the road from save mart and a little eatery area in Lathrop. read more

I really enjoyed the AHA BLS class. The instructor was very detailed and explained every clearly. When I signed up I wasn't sure how the class was going to be conducted due to COVID still running rapid. They have taken COVID precautions so that you feel safe while learning.
