If cheese pleases you let me introduce you to The Cheese Pleaser (TCP). Short on time, special occasiosn and the stakes are high, or just out to impress; Sharyn and her daughter are who you are going to call for a cheese board to keep the fussiest of tastebuds delighted.
Case in point. For a recent event I could have easily constructed cheese and charcuterie myself. But, after following TCP on Instagram and drooling over their cheese-prowess, I threw caution to the wind and outsourced that shizz. And you know what? No regrets.
After briefing Sharyn on the number of guests, the style of event and what kind of crowd we'd be entertaining the creation of my cheese boards was left in very capable hands. Sharyn arrived on the night about an hour before showtime (enough time to let the cheese warm to room temp, she said) and set about creating the cheese that would indeed please an audience. The price for the boards includes cheese, charcuterie, bread and crackers. Plus all instruments for eating (cheese knives and boards). For the lack of stress alone it was worth every penny. Plus I don't think I've ever seen two cheese boards devoured with such ferocity.
On a side note, if you want to meet and try the delights of TCP but don't have an excuse to feature them at an event, they have a stall at the Powerhouse Jan Power's Markets each week. read more
