I usually prefer my beef medium rare, but it got mixed with the pork, so everything got cooked well done. If my beef was cooked medium rare, this would probably be a 5 star review. Sirloin Beef $39 AUD - Beautifully marbled. Marinated Beef Ribs $36AUD - This was good and had generous meat. We ordered too much meat, but amazingly we finished it all, so it had to have been really good. Cheese Corn Side Dish - Okay, too cheesy for me. I bet very few people say that, lol. Tofu Side Dish - I am not a tofu or soup person, so I did not try. They have both Korean and Australian beers, thank you. I chose to drink the local beers, as the Korean brand beers were the same as the U.S. Support locals. Atmosphere - Small local restaurant. Indoor/outdoor seating were very limited. Semi-open kitchen, see picture. You will be crammed in to maximize space. Open 7 days a week from 11am to 10:30pm. Not sure if they have bathrooms; sorry I can not remember and I did not take a picture. Service - Full service. They actually cook the food for you at your table. Both the owner and waiter cooked for us. I really appreciated that. But I am also sure they do that to turn the tables faster, good business practice. Win/win. Price - See menu, Korean foods are always a little on the expensive side, but when you take into consideration the current US exchange rate, it was a sale for us. :) Owner Comment - Congrats on your success.

To keep it simple, it beats the Strathfield AND Carlingford one (Korean BBQ buffet lovers know which ones I'm talkin bout). Dem ribs and pork, DEM RIBS.... sho tasty. I was so keen on the raw meat that I didn't try any already-made hot food (which I heard from a friend was pretty yummy too), my bad. I couldn't bring myself not to have 50 more pieces of meat. Unlimited awesome food with a free can of drink for $29 is a pretty sweet deal. They also have quite an amazing selection of condiments for you to concoct that much needed sauce (salt and sesame oil guys, particularly for the pork belly + a piece of garlic mmm). I hope they don't up the price like crazy and keep the quality going. Service was good as far as I could tell from the billions of hot plates they changed for us, and all with a smile :) ... I think... Just be warned the parking around Lidcombe is s*** and will only be more s*** from now on. Go early would be my tip. Then check out the awesome cafes they've opened now that Liddy has been Koreanized.

You would need to choose carefully here as not all range can be considered okay. That said, the fact that they use Oyster Blade for their BBQ means they do know their meat. Not only would I be able to check out your grilling skills, I could also suss out the spiciness you could handle. But enough on that, you want to know how good the food is here. IT'S GOOD. It's real good. I haven't found a place that serves up such fresh meat every time till now. At $39 a head, it's a relatively affordable bang for your buck place. The variety in meats is also good. Not to mention, their prawns are always so large! A kilo of those and you've nearly made back your money! An extra $3 gets you unlimited soft drinks. I would also recommend getting a bottle of soju or maekgoelli (milky looking rice wine) to really complete the meal. The alcohol just enhances the experience really. That might set you back around $10-15 a bottle, though you'll be sharing so it's all a-ok. They also have a good range of hot food (e.g. fried chicken, japchae, which are these noodles, korean pancakes, dumplings, sushi) and korean soups (such as spicy tofu soup). There's lots to eat and plenty of veggies around to accompany all that meat. They also have a little bibimbap station for you to assemble your own! I'd eat that last as rice is super filling. If you feel like splurging more, they offer a premium set that includes a set of sashimi and crazy wagyu beef. It's around an extra $20 a head. Personally, I don't think it's worth it as it's only an one off (e.g. only one serving of sashimi and wagyu) but feel free to try it! Either way, you need to make this place your go to KBBQ. I guarantee your satisfaction.

Lots of Korean food to choose from. Everything was tasty except for the mandoo (dumplings), and there was a wide variety available such as pancakes, kimchi, galbi jjim, japchae, sushi, etc. There are also bibimbap options, but when you're at a buffet I doubt you'll fill yourself up on that. The main attraction is the wollamssam (rice paper rolls) and the great thing is you can make as many rolls are you want and all the other good stuff, at a very good price of $25! Lots of space and clean so all in all a great environment to eat yourself silly.

Its best value at lunch time where the price I don't think has changed for the last 5 years. There's a range of meats to chose from. There's also rice, the salads and condiments to help balance it out! Usually we go crazy on the Bulgogi and eat it Korean style - in a lettuce leaf with some chilli flavoured shallot salad or Kim Chi (spiced cabbage). Bacon and tongue with a bit of salt is also very flavoursome on the charcoal grill! Yep charcoal not gas BBQ - Hence the name I guess. There's complimentary (or I guess its part of the price!) tea and coffee. You can also finish your meal with orange or watermelon slices. If you're looking for a long lunch place. Here it is. Just don't wear your favourite outfit unless you want it to smell like Korean BBQ!

I am left with one thing, write down a review. The food: 1. Very ordinary. Of course you will cook your own. The point is, if you go to a Korean butchery, same meat, marinade, cut that they serve. As if they bought it straight and marked up the goods. Not even a house special. 2. Very expensive drinks. We went for cola and still expensive. Why? They maybe just bought it from regular groceries on sale. Service: 1. You need to catch the staff, they are not so visible in the area. Pretending to be busy. The place: 1. Someone has to re-think on the design of the place. The obvious. Ventilation (you should see when more customer cooking all together). 2. The facade looks inviting, better think again when you look at the menu before coming inside.
