I have never been to this establishment before today, so as a first time customer I had to temper my expectations. This morning I came in for my scheduled appointment, which I made the previous week via the website. Arrived early and was quickly situated in the barber's chair within my designated time slot. I was asked what kind of cut I was looking to get, and I poorly explained how I usually cut/style my hair. Matt took my brief answer and delivered the exact style I wanted. He was very personable and conversational throughout the process, making sure to ask specific questions about the cut and confirm my answers; e.g. he asked about my sideburns--what shape I wanted--and how to proceed with their meeting of my beard. He made me feel comfortable and relaxed, as if I was a frequent regular with whom he had worked with many times. Matt is amazing! I booked my two teenage boys who were over due for haircuts. They are getting more particular about their hair and it was time to move on from those "quick cut" places. They both had an idea of what they wanted and Matt did the rest. He knocked it out of the park! One of my sons had about 6 inches taken off and Matt took the extra time to make sure the new style was just right. They both love their cuts and it's growing out nicely. I love that he has a variety of time slots if we book at least a week out. And booking is easy, his location is convenient and has plenty of parking. I had the same barber for 8 years before, and throughout that time I would try others because she was out of town or I needed a cut that didn't fit with her schedule, and no one even came close to showing the same level to detail, besides Matt.
