We couldn't be more excited about this coffee shop discovery! We frequently make the trip between Union City, Indiana, and Indianapolis and find it hard to discover great coffee businesses between the two and always want to support local. I pulled up Yelp just to see if there was anything I hadn't uncovered before and we drove out of our way to New Paris to stop here. What a find! This will definitely be a part of our go to journey back-and-forth. The staff was very friendly, the atmosphere of picnic tables and shaded areas paired with the beautiful interior with garage doors opening out to nature couldn't be better. We were quickly greeted upon entering and made our order of a lavender cappuccino and flat white latte. Both were smooth and I asked for very little syrup and it was so nice to have a coffee drink in a rural area that wasn't drowning with sugar.They also have a small winery located inside that we would love to check out in the future. Our first stop on the Chocolate Trail. The free item was a sample of the Mocha but we were pleasantly surprised we got offered Hot Chocolate or Mocha. We also each got a Cinnamon Roll. When our drinks came out they were Mocha not Hot Chocolate. It was free so we just ate our Cinnamon Rolls and threw the Mocha away on our way out. Neither of us do coffee. Love this independent coffee shop and wine bar just over the Ohio-Indiana border. Serving fantastic coffee drinks that change regularly and are cutely themed according to the season. Great tasting food- soups, sandwiches, breakfast sandwiches, cookies and pastries. The space is beautiful with open windows that allow you to admire the beauty of the surrounding nature / campgrounds. I've never had their wine options, but it is open for wine tasting in the evenings. Service is swift and friendly. Love having this as an alternative to Sbux, and it's not that much further down the road! Highly recommend this wonderful coffee shop! read more

Hidden gem!! We were driving back home from Ohio to Arkansas and searched for coffee. Cedar Coffee and Starbucks came up in the search so we of course wanted to try something different. The owner said they have been open for 1 month and they make all the baked goods from scratch! They also make most of their own syrups. We ordered the chocolate chip pancake latte (seasonal) and honey vanilla latte. We also ordered a strawberry danish. Everything was soooo good! This is a cute and lovely place in New Paris. The staff was very very friendly and the barista made great lattes. The space itself is beautifully designed; the outside area for drinking and breakfasting was beautiful, surrounded by pine trees. Great little coffee shop for new Paris Ohio! This small little café works perfect for this town especially for us campers here at Natural Springs Resort. It's so much better not going into Richmond just to get coffee, and having a coffee shop that has many options, as well as options for food for breakfast and for lunch. The bakery is perfect especially if you want a little something sweet for your coffee or even for a little tree after dinner. Great little coffee shop to come to, would definitely recommend. Pricewise, it is a little pricey especially for the lattes. With them being five dollars, but when you go to any other Coffee shop you're most likely going to find the same prices. Surely love going here. Great coffees and food. They need a class on customer service though. Some of the people taking orders look angry and put out that you wish to place an order. Never a smile or a thank you. Today there were 9 people in line while one worker sat in the cafe visiting with someone they knew. Instead of calling out when an order was ready, they hand deliver. This is a good place to stop for coffee if you have time to wait. The food is not good, and the baked goods not fresh. but they have very good espresso! I have been many times and while good, the wait time is is always forever! they never really seem to hurry, even with a huge line. and once Thursday when I came in with a a group there was only one employee. she had to make all our drinks and cook our food order. along with waiting on other customers who came in. Any baked good I've gotten taste like they've been sitting for days in the display case. And the breakfast sandwiches lack seasoning, and the egg on them is nasty and over cooked. the cheese wasn't even melted on mine! The ambience is nice, and the place seems clean. And they always have good coffee. although sometimes my Breve seems a bit cold, like they don't steam the cream enough. read more
