My son though he was booking an appointment for a haircut and was asked for a credit card, he was under the impression that he was getting a cut today, upon arrival at the cave, he was told he didn't have an appointment and was not getting a refund. I drove to the cave and was not impressed by the way the receptionist told the owner that I yelled at her ( which didn't happen), there was no management on site, nor was it explained to my son that he in fact was not charged for being put on the waiting list. The owner contacted me and was incredibly rude in her efforts to explain the miscommunication. With the prices I pay for my son to get his hair cut, I expect a knowledgeable person to be able to explain the situation to my son, or myself in a professional manner. A miscommunication is not a big deal until you become rude to the people spending money in your establishment. read more

Went in for a trim since I'm growing my hair out and they took clippers to the back. Left some very thin/bald spots in the back. How do you cut someone's hair that short when they tell you they're growing it out. Plus they were 10 mins later for my appointment and didn't shampoo my hair which was included in the price. read more

His haircut was quick, and she did a great job. The store was clean and organized and this was definitely a man cave haha. It was $30 or $35 to get his hair cut. I was in town for the Thanksgiving holiday and my hair was at that point where a hat wouldn't cut it and needed a fix. Lucked into Megan who was fantastic- both as a stylist and person. I've been twice for mens hair cuts. The first time was good the second time very bad. The second time the hair cut I got was fine, but VERY far from what I asked for. I had longer hair and asked for only two inches off the top in the style of Leo from titanic, saying I wanted to still tuck my hair behind my ear. The person must of heard "Christian dad please" because the cut I got was far from the pictures I showed and specifically asked for. I would guess my hair was around 10 in long when I walked in and it was 3.5-4ish in in the longest parts when I walked out, doesn't even go to my eyebrows. Very disappointed because now I have to grow my hair for another 6 months just to try to get in the style I want, and I'm stuck with this lame hair style! read more

I needed a hair cut in worst of ways. I thought I would try out The Cave because I have heard nothing but great things about this barbershop. I went to The Cave's Facebook page and I clicked on the make an appointment tab. The process of setting up an appointment was very easy and the steps were easy to follow. I set up my appointment with Shayla. I've used the same barber for years, so I was a little skeptical when I first took a seat in her chair. Shayla asked me a few questions about my haircut and she then went to work. Once Shayla was done and I took a look in the mirror and I have to admit that she had just given me one of the best haircuts I have ever received. I was really impressed with the straight razor work. I haven't had a straight razor shave since I was a kid and Shayla's lines and shave were amazing. The atmosphere of The Cave is relaxed and welcoming. The employees were friendly and nice also. I would highly recommend The Cave to anyone looking for haircut,beard trim or boot shine. When I showed the wife the new haircut she loved it! I'd heard good things about The Cave ever since it opened and I wanted to give it a try. It also didn't hurt that I was in dire need of a haircut too! The atmosphere is upscale and welcoming with a nice array of alcohol, though I did not wish to partake. My appointment was with Shayla. She was friendly, but also skilled with getting my hair wrangled the way I wanted it along with handling a straight-razor along the back and sides of my neck. I have to say that this is the best haircut experience I've had so far, and I am definitely contemplating going back when the time comes for another grooming. read more

Such a cool place for mens (and boys) grooming. The decor is masculine, with a vintage feel. Tufted leather couches welcome you in the door to their large open spaced shop. We went today with my dad, husband, and one-year-old son. Each had a cut that was perfect, and to their liking. Props to Ashley for working so well with our little toddler. Taylor always makes my husband's hair look great. You can have an alcoholic beverage with your cut, and they also offer beard trimming, shaving, as well as a shoe shine. read more

I took my two sons, ages 6 and 9, for haircuts and they must have been assigned to a new stylist because they came away with really bad haircuts. I called and asked if they would fix these and the lady on the phone apologized and said my sons were cut by a new stylist and that they could be recut the following Monday. We came in and the boys did get their cuts fixed by another stylist, but we were charged for it. So in the span of one week, I had to pay $90 for two childrens' haircuts. read more

Nice decor and atmosphere, but that's where my positive experience ended. Got a terrible cut....even with pictures of the look I wanted. Didn't even come close! Spent months growing hair a little longer to achieve the look and now it's gone, and starting all over. I also only got one wash...I'm pretty sure they're supposed to give you two.
