Plus their iPad died for us to do it there. It was a headache! 3. They didn't have enough people working which added to the time we had to wait. The staff were overwhelmed and not able to keep up with everything. There were atleast 20 people behind us in line and I hate to know how long they waited!

Not much shade and the grounds get muddy when it rains. Food trucks and beer tents are available during scheduled events. We attended during the inaugural 'AVLFest' and were happy to finally visit this space. We'll certainly go again when it's dry and with chairs and sun umbrella - or after dusk. It really is a great space with loads of opportunity.

There was a group about to leave that we could join so it worked perfectly. We filled out the wavers and also rented a Go Pro for our helmet. After that, we got our harness from our two guides. The two guides we had were amazing and so informative and the kept us entertained the entire time. They actually made the experience fun for us. For 80 per person, you get to ride six different lines that range in height, distance, and speed. Before every ride, the guides give safety tips and the best way to enjoy the ride. For a first-time rider, I'm so glad I was in the hands of Canopy Ridge I felt safe and I was never unsure on every line. It also involves some hiking but only a few steps. We enjoyed being in Nature and the weather was perfect. If you are ever in the area of Canopy Ridge Farm is a must.

No time limit (although I assume you need to be back before they close). Such a great deal! Seven of us (three adults, four kids) reserved our spot over the phone. This required a small down payment. We arrived at our scheduled time, filled in a waiver for each person tubing, sized out a life vest for our six year old and then hopped into a van to go to the dropoff point. On the way to our drop-off the van driver instructed us on the river landmarks that would be important for our safe and timely return. She also gave us a humorous "tour" of the "town" we pass thru on the way to the drop-off. She provided us some straps so we could strap two of the younger riders to an adult. We spent about four hours on the water. The river was wide enough and appointments staggered enough that at no point did I feel crowded or rushed. We stopped at one spot to ride the rapids, eat lunch and swim, we stopped at another to jump off a rock wall into the water. Upon arriving at the pickup spot we snapped some photos (great view) and only waited for about ten minutes until the van to take us back arrived. If you love being on the water or spending time in nature, I'd recommend tubing with Loafers Glory.

Our river guide Mike was fun, nice, very informative. He gave good instruction and gave good signals on the river. When we got out at Stackhouse, we were met by Karen who had watermelon for us to enjoy. She took us back to Hot Springs in good shape having had much fun. I will definitely call on Hot Springs Rafting for my next river adventure.
