I'd say that if you can go somewhere else you'd probably be seen a bit faster. when I finally was brought out of the waiting room into a bed, it was in a hallway, where I was kept overnight and was finally put into a "room" the next morning at about 9 am. All of the ER tests and things were done in the hallway. Other than the time and the wait. The care I received was second to none. I was given attentive Nurses and doctors who were competent and actually figured out what was wrong with me. Hopefully this review guides you in the right direction.

I gave them ALL of my Aetna insurance information and they told me my insurance was valid and accepted there. I also had just spoken to someone at Aetna and they TOLD me that my insurance covered me down in LA. So I set up an appointment. What could go wrong? Well, the whole fucking thing actually. See my previous comment of "Fuck this place." So I set up the appointment and the doctor was great. He set me up for my bi-annual labs (I had some cancer markers previously) and some X-Rays for some hand a foot pain I was having (likely due to Peripheral Neuropathy, but was being cautious). Everything sounded great right? Covered. Good doctor. Efficient exams. But, ah, see, actually... I wasn't covered. So between Aetna telling me I was, Cedars-Sinai confirming I was and no one in the doctors office doing their due diligence to make sure I was covered, NO ONE COULD TELL ME I WASN'T. Then the bill came for almost $900. I disputed it multiple times thru Aetna and they came back and basically said that even though someone at Aetna told me I was covered, it was still my responsibility if they were wrong. So, also FUCK AETNA. But also fuck Cedars-Sinai for not verifying it all properly. So today, I just put $900 on a credit card. This fucking United States business just keeps adding up and I'm telling you, zero stars to the United States, Aetna and Cedars-Sinai not having our back on anything. Takeaways: 1. Fuck this place. 2. Fuck Aetna. 3. Fuck healthcare. 4. It's more affordable to just die.

I had a somewhat serious cervical spine surgery where the added an alternative disk replacement by taking out a fusion. They were well equipped for this and the surgery went well. From their calls prior to check-in to tell me what was going to happen, to the check-in procedure and pre-op planning, everything was smooth sailing. The nurses were all great and very attentive. I could only expect Dr. Rasouli to operate at a top-notch place. In my book, this is a top-notch place. I have had surgery at Cedar's main hospital and this is by far a much better patient experience. They really are attentive and have a super great staff.

With 13 chairs, there were 15 people in the waiting room. The front desk staff were reminding people that there is another waiting room on a different floor. But why do this. Why stagger the patients like this. I'm sure there is a reason, but this is LA. We had plans and reservations. Made these plans because a 10 minute procedure at 1:15pm would allow us to skip traffic. But by the time we were actually done, it took us an 1:20 minutes to get home. By the time we left there was 1 person in the waiting room. Unless the doctors and nurses love ending their day by 3pm, it just makes no sense to overcrowd your facility, your waiting room and cause such a painful delay in being seen. Ridiculous! While the professionalism, the care and the procedure were outstanding - this isn't a heart surgery. And the overall experience takes away from the hard work that the doctors and nurses put into their patients. Do better please with time-management, over-scheduling, over-crowding, and if people are late to appointments - fine them, but don't create a system of waiting for over an hour if you asked us to be there at a certain time - we expect to be seen in a reasonable time.

Dr. Richardson took action immediately and scheduled a biopsy and imaging and my wife ended up having a rare type of cancer called malignant phyllodes tumor, and we were told on a Friday and by the following Monday they fit us in for a double mastectomy. The tumor had grown to 14cm within 2 months. Since pathology noted that the cancer had reached her skin, both Dr. Richardson and Dr. Cassileth even had my wife come back in for a second surgery to ensure the margins were as clear as possible since this was such a aggressive cancer. I'm am writing this review sitting back in her waiting room a year and half later after we reached out this morning after my wife felt a lump in the same place the original lump was felt. Dr. Richardson moved around her schedule and got her in today, and is currently doing a biopsy out of an abundance of caution. If you're looking for an amazing, professional, compassionate and an expert in their field, look no further than Dr. Richardson. She is truly the reason my wife is still alive and thriving today.

I recently redid a similar diagnostic mammogram and ultrasound at the Randal Breast Facility in Pasadena, and they only charged me $58 (and notified me beforehand what it would cost). Both these facilities are within my network. Why the insane price difference? These guys at Bedford are just there to make profit, not to treat you. I also only got to see a doctor there for half a minute and both doctor and nurse were rude and laughing when I starting crying upon diagnostic. They showed absolutely no empathy. Very poor experience. Avoid this place at all cost.

I had been waiting for this appt for months…read more Due to rain, heavy/slow traffic and super slow valet in the extremely small and expensive parking garage, I arrived at 12:20pm. The desk clerk said Dr. Dina is at lunch, she has a packed day. You can wait until 2pm to "maybe" see her. I told her it was really upsetting. Why didn't anybody call with a courtesy call to say if I was late I would not get to see the doctor, to save me the drive / time / gas. They have no concern that I wasted gas, time (3 hrs) to get there and return home. Dr. Dina is great! But the office staff (two thumbs down) and parking is awful! - Whoever designed such a small parking lot that has barely 35 stalls for a huge bldg like this is a deficient architect Wondering if teleconferencing is a better way to move forward. Or to quit this office altogether. SERIOUSLY UPSET!!!! They better not charge me for this DID NOT HAPPEN visit!
