Amazing key lime pies and other wonderful pies served with a smile. Came here because I saw them once at the Farmers Market at Lakewood Ranch on Sundays. The tropical key lime pie screamed my name. It is raspberry, mango, and guava swirled into their key lime pie. It is amazing and such a perfect flavor and texture. The sweet lady working was so friendly and welcoming. I had called ahead of time since I knew it was a drive to get there and they are only open until 2 pm on a Saturday. They sell diff flavors of key lime pie like raspberry and mango and original as well as wonderful flavors such as coconut and Nutella. Those are the ones that caught my eye. They sell tropical flavor bundtlets and small desserts that you can preorder, and have small key lime pie tartlets and chocolate key lime pie on a stick. We love the chocolate key lime pie on a stick. It always reminds us of key west. This is a wonderful small business and their pies are made right there. When you get a pie they are given to you frozen which was perfect for us since we do live far. I will definitely be back to try more. I know they are super welcoming and the pie is divine! Delicious pies and friendly service! I stopped by the farmers market yesterday and Caribbean Pie had a stand and I couldn't pass them up after trying one of their key lime pie samples. I opted for the 3 mini pies for $10, 2 key lime and one chocolate silk. I'm a chocolate person so I had to try the chocolate and it did not disappoint although the key lime was the real star of the show! The mini pies are the perfect serving for one. I had my eye on the Caribbean Pie Co gluten free key lime pie during my week long vacation in Sarasota. On our last day in town I finally got my chance at their booth at the Sarasota Farmers Market. Sam helped me with a smile, explaining that he had two gluten free pies on hand. He also answered my questions about their preparation process, explaining that they have separate areas of the kitchen where the gf pies are prepared. When we got it home we shared it with non-gf family and all were raving about its flavor and even the gf crust - the filling was perfectly tart and not too sweet. Outstanding from start to finish. We walked in at 3pm on a Monday to get pie for that nights dinner. We were immediately greeted by a friendly gentleman who told us our options. It was mentioned that I was gluten free, and I wasn't expecting many options, but he said he had one ENTIRE gluten free key lime pie in the back. I was so thrilled. A lady came out with the pie and said the crust was a little crumbly (common for gluten free) and asked it we still wanted it- when we did they discounted it, which was very kind for how minor the crumbling was. Shari was so helpful in helping me plan and getting the tarts to our venue. Wanted to try a few of the mini tarts. Store and website both advertise that they open at 11:00. Found out from a neighboring shop owner that they have not been opening till 12 or later. This company makes an OUTSTANDING key lime pie! We get a key lime pie for a friend every year for her birthday and she raves about the pie from Caribbean Pie Company. We've been buying from them for maybe 15-18 years or so. They used to be on Clark (Stickney Point Rd) in Sarasota then they moved to a strip mall in Osprey. Now they're in Venice. No matter where they're located their key lime pie is worth the drive.
