The pain continued over the next 7 months and I'm now facing the prospect of having the root canal redone or removing the tooth per advice of a qualified endodontist as there's an infection causing bone loss. Dr Germino should stick to basic dentistry! Don't ever have him do anything beyond the basic services. He's not an endodontist!!

The neck and back adjustments are excellent and very helpful, and I like that he gives exercises and stretches to do at home, and always asks if I am still doing them. I like the spinal traction machine, I always look forward to doing that. The electrical stimulation feels nice as well. The office is located in the shops just west of Brainard on 55th St. It's a nice little cozy office. I grew up with my father seeing chiropractors and my husband saw one a few years back, so I'm pretty familiar with chiropractic services. Now the difference between the one my husband saw and Dr Cecil is that Dr Cecil's winning personalty and personal approach makes me *want* to come back and not skip appointments. He is very down to earth, unlike a lot of doctors. The adjustments have me coming back, too. Oh and I can't forget about Tina at the front desk, she is always sweet and smiling and happy, too. Very down to earth. I wish all doctor's were like Dr Cecil, since he is very friendly and always happy. I have seen one chiropractor in the past and it was a great experience; granted, it was a friend whom I trusted (and he did a great job!). Luckily, that made me less apprehensive about seeing a chiropractor again and when I moved out of the city, I needed to find a closer office to visit. I've always had tension in my shoulders/neck area, pain and tightness in my lower back, and after a stint in the hospital for esophogeal problems, tightness and pain in my middle back. I avoided it for months, but when the pain got bad enough, I bit the bullet, checked yelp, and made an appointment. I am very glad I did! All three doctors at the practice are not only professional, but very nice. Each visit, they ask how all of the patients are doing. The set- up may seem unconventional to some, with tables out in the open, but its actually very helpful. Some patients have questions, and the others get the benefit of hearing the answer. Ofcourse, if you ever felt uncomfortable and wanted a private room to be seen, there are areas for that. They do anything to make you comfortable. I felt a great benefit from treatment and I will continue to see them on a regular basis for continued maintenance. One thing I always disliked about people who have sought chiropractic care and did not see the benefits, is that more usually than not, they went once or twice. There is no magic cure when something is really wrong. If you have something really wrong, its going to take more than one or two quick adjustments to right a lifetime of wrong (and they can help if you allow them to do so!). But if you had a quick tweak, its a great idea, too. You don't have to go through a whole long treatment process. See them a few times, or multiple times a week for months... depending what is wrong, they can help. And if there is not anything wrong, maintaining proper adjustments has also shown to be very beneficial! So, for someone that is against many chiropractic offices, I give 5 stars to this one. You will receive treatment from all three of the doctors throughout your time here, and all are friendly, professional and effective. If you are on YELP! looking for a chiropractor, you are already questioning it, so you may as well just give it a try!
