Winter woods and wood land scented lotion, grass land scented soap

Years ago I visited the perfumery with my parents and fell in love, and I've been ordering their products all the way to the US ever since! At first it was just Winter Woods perfume and the mint and fennel candle as my Christmas gift each year, but I just received an order of the Winter Woods and Wood Land lotions and Grass Land soap, and these new-to-me scents are absolutely incredible! The customer service is amazing, and I just absolutely love supporting this amazing company.

The Burren Perfumery started in the 70s as a literal cottage industry and has since evolved and been sold to a new owner. Some of the original fragrances remain, though! Although they no longer use flowers found in the local area as it's protected it sounds like they source from Ireland and use organic whenever possible. They have four fragrances for each of Ireland's seasons, and they perfectly capture the smells and feeling of the seasons. I went in early March so it wasn't peak tourist season and a lot of stuff wasn't out for sampling, but I am curious about the serums! The cafe has coffee, tea, and carrot cake muffins to give you a little boost before you head out! It's well worth the drive down the small local road and past some gorgeous scenery to check this place out.

As we were driving the area, we kept seeing signs to this place. Curious, we decided to check it out. What you will find is a quaint little array of small cottages: a tea cafe, a sales room/workshop and another crafting cottage. You'll also be able to walk through their lovely garden with various plants and flowers. They offer perfumes (My favorite is Frond) and skin care items such as lotions, soaps and facial remedies. They appears to have a demonstration/tour type of thing in the adjacent building, but it was later in the day, and we had places to go. Walked out of here spending a couple hundred dollars but sooo worth it. Enjoyed a small pot of hot tea in the outdoor seating area as well. Very relaxing and enjoyable.

Honestly, the whole reason I thought of coming to the Burren on our trip to Ireland was because I saw photos and reviews of this place. It's a perfect little wonderland in the middle of this karst landscape. Ridiculously pretty to walk around the garden. We ended up with a bag full of lotions, soaps, perfumes and such from the shop, and had "lunch" at the cafe. Lunch was really just a bunch of cheese and carrot cake, ha ha, which was great after a strenuous Burren hike. One of my favorite parts of our trip.

The café at the Burren Perfumery serves up simple fresh fare that is presented elegantly- the menu is small and focuses on locally sourced ingredients, and the dining area is cutesy and welcoming. The salads and bread we had were delicious and wholesome - light and nutritious but substantial, while the cheese board showcased local cheeses and was delicious to boot. The hot drinks and cakes were also lovely, the tea especially went down a treat for the tea-drinkers in our party as it was loose-leaf and organic. My own Green and Black's hot chocolate was one of the best I've had- not too sweet, it reminded me of the hot cocoas of my youth - bittersweet and warming. It's a lovely place to stop by if you find yourself in the dramatic surroundings of the Burren, it has a beautiful little garden to take a stroll through afterwards and the Perfumery itself is a wonderful shop that looks like an old-style apothecary with all its glass jars lined up on the shelves of the area where they make the products. They sell fragrances, creams and soaps made from the unique plants found here and also show a video that highlights the distinctive flora and fauna of the region.

Visited here on a lovely sunny afternoon for a small bite to eat. The tea room was beautifully decorated and full of character with all kinds of drawings from children and plenty of mini games to keep them occupied. The staff here were incredibly lovely and I was served by a girl named Saoirse who was a delight and couldn't have been any nicer! We got the soup which was super tasty and fresh and then finished with coffee and a brownie which were also both delicious. I will definitely be back here again to try more of their cakes as there was such a variety it was hard to choose! Lana (the dog) was also very cute and humble.

We stopped at this cute cozy place on 5/1/2018. As soon as you step out of your car you're welcomed with such an amazing scent. I don't know if it's the mixtures of perfumes or that mixed with the wilderness. Whatever it is it's wonderful. We didn't get the names of the staff but all were very helpful, humorous and welcoming. I wish I would have got the name of the young woman with black hair in a braid, she was so funny and helpful. Her humor went right with our Chicago humor. She spent the most time with us and made sure we got the right perfumes. One of the other woman gave us a suggestion of where to eat dinner..... Linnane's Lobster Bar.... it was sooooo good. All the perfume's were delightful....Frond and Man of Aran were two favorites of mine. The staff were very informative and knowledgeable about all of their products. Which include lotions, soaps, candles, serums, teas and perfumes. There is a tea room on sight, the public restrooms were clean and had a supply of hand soap sold by the perfumery. A must stop for anyone in the Burren region.

An interesting little place tucked away in the countryside of Ireland. Beautiful drive. The perfume part didn't interest me (because I'm a guy maybe) but the had a little garden and a tea room. I was hungry so we opted to eat there and was bummed when I only saw cheese on toast (most everything had been sold out; like salmon). I was pleasantly surprised when I ate it though. It was really good and filling. Normally I wouldn't give a compliment to a veggie meal!

I have placed two orders with Seavite this year through their website and on both occasions my…read moreexpections have been more than met. Delivery is super fast. A free gift was included on both orders. I mean a proper full sized product too, not samples. I thought this might have been just for my first order (I received a gift worth 14.50 EUR). But on the second order they included a product worth 20 EUR. P&P can be a bit pricey, but the free gift more than makes up for this. Also the Seavite products are great, I can notice a difference with my skin, especially my face.

I ordered the moisturizer, cleanser, and toner in hopes that my skin would respond well (I have…read morerosacea). Products took about a week to arrive, which isn't unreasonable since they were shipped from Ireland to the U.S. (Ohio). Packaged beautifully and included a beautiful shell as a gift. Sadly, the products smelled a bit funky to me and my face, within 2 days, was inflamed and broken out with postules. I contacted the company directly to inquire about returning the items. I didn't hear from them for 2 weeks. When I did hear from them, they gave an address, but no other information other than a few lines in an email that indicated that their products were specially formulated for sensitive skin and I shouldn't have reacted to them! It felt like they were brushing me off. Shipping from Ireland to the U.S. was $7.00 when I ordered the products. Shipping back would cost me $50! So now I am stuck with over $100 of product that I can't use. Companies who ship internationally need a solid return policy in place. It's my fault for not checking their return policy prior to purchasing from them, but I've never experienced this with a company. Now I have a "buyer beware" mentality for certain. I won't use this company again sadly. They have a beautiful website and beautifully packaged products, but their customer service needs to be a lot more solid and professional.
