I ordered the Teriyaki burger (I'm not a big teriyaki fan but there was just a hint of it), the burger was excellent as well as were the fried potato wedges that came with it. They range from about 60-120kr (for a massive 500g thingy) The Don Ox is a particular favourite. These burgers are absolutely huge, the big messy eat with both hands and don't eat on a date kind. They have opened a second brand in the train station building which is nice and spacious in an old-fashioned railway station dining room that is usually much better if you want to sit and eat rather than takeaway.

We didn't manage to spare room for dessert because we kept eating. Service was kind, attentive and quick. Funny enough my colleague and I were the only females that night. Today I went for a Sunday brunch. We decided to get one of each and then mix and share. All three dishes was amazing, especially the grits - a delicious savory dish. Today we didn't manage to get dessert either - we just couldn't stop eating. We had the to types of soft drinks (lemonade and ice tee) and our waitress suggested to mix them - glad we did! A nice cold Tuborg beer or two and a great burger to match. The place has some nice jams quietly playing in the background complimenting the dark, cozy interior on a cold drizzling night in Århus. The burger was cooked medium and was still juicy with a bun that didn't disintegrate while eating it. I had the bacon cheeseburger with crunchy bacon and pickles and their Grillen mayo. They like their mayo, which is better than Hellmann's but maybe applied a bit too liberally. Luckily, the bag surrounding the burger captured a few tablespoons that had slid off prior to eating. The pickles, sadly, were sweet and not dill, but that was the only "negative" about this burger. The fries were typical and nothing special but crispy and I had them with a side of cheese sauce aka Cheese Whiz. The price point was reasonable for the atmosphere and quality of food and drink. The restaurant was only 1/3 full and had lots of ready tables. Next thing the waiter did not know the wines on the wine list, there were not that many wines on the list. We waited a very long time for the food as well as all the other guests. As mentioned before only 1/3 full. The steaks were not very tender, nor very high quality meat. The guests around us in the restaurant had the same experience and did not try to hide it. The bernaise sauce was cold. The waiter got offended when we told him, and when the new portion of sauce arrived it was very sour, hardly tasting of bernaice sauce. The restaurant was not bad, but did not live up to our expectations or the price. We wonder how they got the Michelin recommendation.
