Every class gives you a great sweat session, and you leave feeling accomplished. They go above and beyond with the little details--cold towels, water, and boxing gloves are provided, and they even write your name on a locker when you arrive, so you know exactly where to put your stuff and where to stand. The staff is incredible--so happy, friendly, and motivating! They truly make you feel like family, and that's one of the reasons I keep coming back. It's on the expensive side but SO worth it! 5/5--I absolutely love it here!

Thanks to ClassPass, I get to check out different studios whenever I travel! Columbus is a smaller…read morecity so the offerings on CP are slim- lucky for me, Rumble is one of them and I brought my boxing gloves and wraps on my trip :) I took two classes, both with Coach Terrence. His energy was great, even in a super small intimate class! This was my first Rumble experience. I liked it, though it wasn't my favorite style of boxing training. It's not fully boxing, so for those who are just getting into boxing or consider it more like a smaller part of their routine, this might be a great choice. For me, I take 45-60 minute boxing classes regularly and really just wanted to hit, so I was a little thrown when I walked in and ClassPass had the wrong format on their system so little did I know, I was signed up for a fully strength class. I came back that week and did a 5v5 (5 rounds boxing, 5 rounds floor/strength) to try it out for real. I am not a fan of the aqua bags, as someone who generally hits heavyweight bags. But that's just personal preference. It's also very clubby inside, reminiscent of a Barry's class. Loud music, dark ambiance with colorful lighting changes. Once again, that's is totally personal preference but isn't my favorite studio ambiance because I get overstimulated. I also found that some of the combination movements on floor were odd and counterproductive. This is not coach-specific, I believe Rumble corporate probably sets the workouts. But I don't see how a dumbbell chest press into a lying leg raise is a productive exercise. THAT SAID, the studio itself was great. All the staff were super friendly, inviting, and made me feel super welcome as an out of towner. They write great quotes/mantras on the lockers each day, the space is clean and bright, and there's parking. I'll certainly be back when I'm inevitably in town again.

This gym apparently is the old Agonizo gym, now called Powerhouse gym. I remember as a young boy,…read morethe father of my best friend use to come to this gym, so i guess it's been around for a really long time. However, when searching for the address for this Yelp review, i came across a couple of Google reviews for the former Agonizo gym. from what i understand, the gym changed ownership and changed names to Powerhouse. upon arriving to tifton for a 3 month work assignment, i visited 3 gyms in the area, all within a block or 2 of each other...which is kind of weird considering the locale is downtown Tifton, a virtual ghost town. they offered me an 80 dollar flat fee for 3 months which seemed reasonable, until i broke it down and figured i only pay 30 bucks a month at my scottsdale LA Fitness, which is far and beyond a much, much, much better gym. anyway, this is a weights gym. it's rather ratty. there are no fancy pieces of equipment. many of the seats on the moveable benches come completely off, a severe safety hazard if you're lying on them with weights above your head and the bench face decided to slide off. there are only 2 treadmills. only 1 of the 4 ellipticals work. and their smith machines are ancient...you can't adjust the cable heights at all. a couple of other things to consider...the mens bathroom is quite dingy. the toilet was missing for many days with the sewage pipe exposed. the sink only offers hot water. there is frequent absence of paper towels and hand soap for days at a time. and the showers are disgusting. one of the google reviews said there was a sauna....not currently. as with any gym, no one puts their weights away and there are more people at this gym i noticed, that are more interested in socializing. there is a limited selection of dumbells. and one more negative....the overhead music selection is not only ear busting loud, but terrible as well. however, there does remain a smoothie bar but i never partook in such. there are enough weights to keep you busy, but if you are interested in doing any kind of cross fit or HIIT style workout, you have to be very creative as the selection of gear is limited. there is an aerobics room, which when empty is loaded with theraballs and even ropes for some cross training. this is a small town and everyone knows each other. lots of socializing, and i would be hopeful that if i stayed longer, i would;ve be included in some interaction. being an outsider, no one ever really talked to me, except John, the day manager....very cool guy by the way. extremely friendly and often was seen giving tips and helping other members with tips on working out. i'm not a social butterfly, but i'm no leper either. in any case, biggest gripe and where 80 bucks for 3 months was way too much....it's a 24/hr gym, but you must have a key to access on friday, sat, sun, and anytime before 8am or after 8pm. what a huge ripoff, one i experienced only i after i paid. what kind of gym is only open 4 days a week, and otherwise only to people whom have a key? i'll take my 30/month super snobby LA Fitness where i know people won't talk to me, but at least the doors are always open, there is a plethora of equipment, and the bathrooms are clean.

Beginning the high-intensity interval training at Uncommon Athlete has been life changing. I feel no pressure. I am shocked by the often 1:1 attention I get from the coaches - I feel like I have a personal trainer. I enjoy the routines. My aches and pains are accomodated. My limits are pushed, by me and by the coaches. This is the first exercise regimen I have stuck with in more than 20 years. I haven't missed a week where I didn't get in my three classes. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, caring, courteous, and understanding. I cannot give a higher recommendation to this gym. If you need help, seek them out. If you are in a solo environment where you are now, switch to these guys. I you are in a toxic gym environment, leave now and seek out Uncommon Athlete. You will not regret it.

I arrived at this gym so out of shape and with several injuries. I explained to the staff my limitations and they worked around them and help me reach my fitness goals. Lost 30 pounds doing their programming! They also offer an online program, for those days that you can't make it, which I highly recommend!! Even if that doesn't convince you they offer this 3 day pass I believe, which allows you to check out the gym. Do it! You got nothing to loose, every workout is scalable and the coaches, Tyler, Dustin or Brandon will help!
