This Foodland in Bancroft is a welcome addition to the Bancroft area and community. It has a small…read moresit in area with a coffee machine where you can sit and have a coffee or a bite to eat. This Foodland also includes a deli and bakery, and the vastness of the store is really great for a Foodland, which took over the building where Price Chopper use to be. It is open 24 hours a day and has hosted a drive in youth event in the summer. Next to No Frills, Foodland is the other grocery store in Bancroft. It is located beside the Canadian Tire.

However you won't need to drive to Haliburton to get what you need, so I appreciate this store a lot

The prices aren't exorbitant, and the some of the brands are surprising -- we even found Slovenian chocolate! The market also has a liquor store and a post office and a liquor store where you can get their own brand of fresh Eagle Lake beer.
