The Bristol Magazine is absolutely filled to the brim with adverts and is distinctly aimed towards a wealthy, middle-aged, middle class demographic. I'm going to say it right now, so as not to keep you in suspense - I'm not much of a fan. I understand that I might not be part of their target audience, but still an entire two-page article on the fact that it's been snowing? That's groundbreaking journalism, right there. Taking the most recent edition as an example, featured on the front cover is "Bristol's Best Properties To Buy Or Rent". Well, Clifton's best properties to buy or rent, would be more accurate, given that 90% of the homes featured reside within it. Apart from that, the article itself is in fact not an actual article at all, but a huge advertisement for a few select estate agents, who have obviously paid to be featured. To be honest, the only thing I found worth reading in the current issue was an article about falcons. So there you go. read more
