I've been there twice now…read more First night (Saturday) there was very loud, derogatory rap music playing. Families with kids eat there, they should not have to hear stuff like that. It was very hard to communicate with the server due to the noise. The actual menu is a lot smaller then what is shown on their website. Especially fish options. I had grouper tenders which were small and mostly breading. Not worth it. Fries were excellent. Tartar sauce appeared to be pure mayo, no sign of relish or lemon at all. Ketchup, mustard, and salt were the only condiments on the table, not sure if anything else was available, like cider vinegar or even pepper. It's a pub, you would think all that stuff to be automatic. Second night (9 pm Sunday) I tried to go elsewhere because of my previous night's experience, but not many other options. Most of Alma was already closed. Tonight there was no music playing, so I was able to have a conversation. I had the olive burger with steak fries, my son had boneless wings with Thai sauce and waffle fries. Everything was very good, and a good value for the money. I guess I need a third night to be a tie-breaker.

I have been to Bravehearts in the past since family lives in Alma. This past visit was painful…read more This business smelled awful. Basically took my drink to the outdoor patio (which was nice) and ended the night. Although I can't confirm my family member who likes to drink alot said the place was undergoing sewer repairs in the basement.

We have passed this place many times and finally decided to stop in and try it. We were glad we…read moredid. The place has limited parking but it's worth your time. The staff was very friendly and on top of things. Our waitress was warm and welcoming with just enough attentiveness without being overly intrusive. She was also accommodating to my beverage choice dilemma. Thank you! The food was all delicious. We split the Ruben with onion rings ($3 up charge). The Ruben might be one of the best we remember. The flavor was great, it was not greasy or soggy from too much toppings. The onion rings were also very crispy without being burnt. The coating was thin and fully covered the onion. We also shared the Ruben egg rolls and they were delicious as well. The only thing is they were two egg rolls cut into 6 pieces, which seemed a bit pricey. If you want a Ruben, you might just want to do the sandwich. The beverages were reasonably priced with a good variety to choose from. The inside was clean and they have plenty of seating. They have some unique seating arrangements and a small game area. They also appear to have an outdoor area, which was only used for the patrons who smoked as it was too cold to sit outside. We are definitely going to be going back. I would recommend this place to anyone.

My grandson got a kids burger and fries I thought it tasted a little off maybe because it only had ketchup on it.I got a corned beef sandwich and fries the corned beef was about 1" thick not a bunch of slices it was fantastic!

It was the golf resort off season, so I will give the atmosphere some slack. It's a nice cozy place…read morewith a bar and restaurant style seating. It was clean and quiet, very quiet. Our group made up the majority of the clientele. So if you want a nice quiet meal, this would have been perfect for you. The food was delicious. The black and blue burger was delicious and the bacon slices were thick and plentiful. The toppings were fresh. The meat was cooked as asked and the blue cheese was enough to add that signature flavor. The house chips that come with the meal were very good. You can get fries, onion rings, or sweet potato fries for an up charge. The complementary pickle was crunchy and not a floppy mess. The gyro was good as well. The meat is a mix of lamb and beef, so no choosing. The same pickle and chips were ordered as part of the meal. Our server was professional and polite. She was attentive but could have been a bit more on top of things. The meal with two adult drinks came to be ~$50 without the tip. You are most likely going there for the atmosphere.

To preface this, we live close by and have been eating here once a week for the last couple of…read moremonths. Mostly, without issue. However, tonight left a raw taste in our mouth (more about that later). My daughter orders a burger and when it's set down in front of her, it's the wrong burger, so they return it to the kitchen and make up the correct burger. But then my daughter bites into it and it was raw in the middle, so again we complain. They offer to replace, reluctantly, the burger...again. We declined and my daughter orders something different. By time my daughter got her item, the rest of the table (9 people) were already finished eating. We get our bill and get charged for the substitution item. We complain about having to pay at all for having two items that are bad, but they say that's their "policy". As we're leaving they tell us they can give us 20% off the substituted item (which was $14)...so a whole $2.80 discount!?!?! Is it April Fools already? We've been spending over or close to $100 here once a week for the last couple of months and a whooping $2.80 discount. Shove it. We'll just eat somewhere else from now on. The fact that they were unwilling to provide something at no cost when they screwed it up twice is amazing (and not in a good way). So, if you're giving thought of coming here, don't. Go to Antlers or CL Pizza instead. St Ives Grill doesn't want to take care of their customers, the bottom line is more important.
