My friends have held several parties in a large communal space with a kitchen/sink/fridge and plenty of seating + a pool table. This night we were outside near the pool in a separate side room near a large fireplace and TV. There's plenty of space and variety, and everything is very clean and modern. It's a great aesthetic and nice spot to bring your friends whether to your apartment or a community event!

I've loved my time so far living at Broadmoor!…read more First off, the location is amazing! There is so much going on at Aksarben with all of the recent additions which makes living here fun and convenient. I love that it's a busy enough area but it feels safe. Everyone working here is super responsive and I haven't had any issues so far at all. I love the apartment itself they are clean, look nice, the bedrooms and closets are huge- overall just really nice apartments! I also love all of the amenities. There are two gyms which is super convenient. There are also two pools that are so fun to hangout by on a warm day. The community is friendly and fairly quiet. I've never had noise issues with any neighbors which can't always be said about apartments! Overall, I highly recommend looking into broadmoor if you're looking for a new place to live!

I am a former tenant as recent as April of 25. About a month after I moved in a new management…read morecompany bought the property. We were without maintenance for weeks I all had to snake my own kitchen sink because I had stagnant water just sitting for weeks because no maintenance. I got pictures too. Shauna, the main property/office manager is completely unprofessional. She is rude, rolls her eyes, tells you to shut your mouth and listen to her. She also allowed me to look through every resident that receives OHA section 8, personal info I saw all of their phone numbers exact addresses, social security numbers as well as how much OHA pays of each person rents. That's a big nono and her former office assistant was in the office when it happened as well. The apts are like the crack house in the neighborhood, run down siding just falling off and left to lay on the property for weeks even months. Shauna thought it would be a good idea to replace the parking lot which was not bad at all instead of replacing the roof on the garages, which desperately needed it. One of the reasons I moved there was for the pool it was never filled, ever. I have had other tenants say it hasn't been filled in years. My upstairs neighbor kicked my dog in the face and got bit I saw it I got it on video shortly after she bought a brand new chrysler. The humane society saw the video did not remove my dog and I stead of Shauna reaching out to investigate she automatically slaps a 14 day notice to get rid of my dog whom is legally an emotional support animal signed off by my doctor. Then when I approached her about the 14 day notice that was out there on my daughter's birthday no less. She became angry and enraged rolled her eyes and was threatening me. Then when I brought up her allowing me to look through the OHA paperwork she blatantly lied to my face and said she would never. Fast forward because of that incident she then slapped a 14 day vacate for everyone in my household which is illegal. I then turned to my caseworker and several hours later I had a legal 30 day vacate before they evicted. The neighbor who attacked my dog still lives there. And whatever you do for the love of God do not move to these apartments you are not allowed to even smoke a vape on your balcony and there are Methican Americans or tweakers everywhere your car will get broken into it is just not a safe place all the way around! I wish there was a way to attach pictures to this so you can see for yourself! Also the last day I was moving I had to ask Shauna a question when I finally got her attention she literally looked at me and said what very rudely in front of other staff. I'm not sure how she even got that job in the first place. Shauna and that moline management need to be investigated. I have also filed a complaint with the fair housing act! This place is garbage!!!

With the lake, the helpful managers/crew, friendly neighbors, wildlife/lake & amenities, it made renting feel like a space rather than just a room. I am grateful for the opportunity to stay & would continue to, but I run a small business so I needed a bit more room. Apartment living is always a challenge, but Westport made it as easy as it can get. Will miss the staff & George the goose. 10/10 recommended if it meets your budget.

Well we don't like this place. It depends on neighbors for sure. We asked if there were kids above…read moreus and we were told No. Later we find there is a toddler above us and 2 very loud parents. Legally they can't tell is if there are kids but No is very different than "we can't tell you". The 3 gorillas make out lives miserable and the office won't help. I even contacted the company and they said we could move apartments but we would have to pay all the OPPD, MUD, COX, and moving costs so it wasn't worth it. That's about $200. When we moved in there was abrown substance leaking from the frig I cleaned up. It smells really bad. A window was broken. We were missing window screens and carpet was pulling up. We were not happy. Also they gave us paperwork about moving in fees which was hard to figure out since the office person could not explain it well. So we were surprised about some stuff. When we were in the office after moving in another couple was confused as well and going through the same struggle to figure out what fees were needed. Our lovely neighbors like to play in the dirt and then sweep in down to our deck so we can't keep anything really on the deck because it gets covered with soil. We told the office but they can't do anything. The lake is nice if you like being woken at 5am by ducks and geese. The air conditioning and heat are SO LOUD. We have to turn up the tv and yell at eachother when it's on. The air intake is right in the living room and it's deafening. I don't recommend this place at all. It's run down and not well maintained. The pool and workout area are under construction and have been since we moved in. We have now been here for 6 months and the fire alarm for the entire building has falsely gone off 4 times! It of course is deafening but when its a false alarm it serves only as a complete disruption and headache.

The full lake view is about $100 more per month, but worth it. Crime is not a problem, but there was "a situation" this week. The management offered no details on what happened in respect of the owner's privacy. It created some anxiety on what exactly happened. Management, to their credit, called back the next day to offer a brief account of what happened. Now the pet policy. It works, even though it's not really enforced. There's a deposit per pet, must take your pet to a lab for a DNA sample. So if someone turns in unpicked up poop, and the DNA matches your dog, you'll get fined. Tenants are excellent about picking up after their dog. There is really no excuse not to, there are poop bag dispensers everywhere. It's not the size of dog, it's the type of dog.
