I've been wanting to try this for a long time because I used to work very close by! So we decided to go on a Monday night! And it was actually very goo, the menu is huge, got so many options which is pretty nice, it was not too crowded, there was like 3 more people in te bar, they have a huge list of beer, I tried something that the bartender told me it was similar to blue moon, and I was great! We got some wings to share, they have like a wing basket that comes with a side of fries, it's a pretty good deal I asked them if the can do my fries loaded and they did, they were very good. We also shared the hot pepperoni pizza, which for me the crust was a little too thick but flavor was good. The place looks very easy going and give you those bar vibes to have a beer or two. As I said before it was not too crowded, but the bartender was like giving all the attention to an specific costumer so we had to really try to get her attention to get some service, that was the only thing that I did not like so much, but for the rest it was great. I've been here 3 times. Great, prompt, friendly service. I have had the Sweet Heat BBQ Bacon burger, The chicken Sandwich, and the Chicken Tap salad. We have been here several times now so here is my review. Brass Tap is a chain and have several locations around Tampa. This location is close to our house and so we do stop in from time to time. They carry a great selection of local and national beers. They serve food and we have eaten here before but the beer is what brings us back. It seems that the post-COVID atmosphere at The Brass Tap has been a little rocky lately. Business appears to be better than ever with more and more people venturing out in public again. My last few visits have seen near capacity crowds with not enough servers available to meet the needs of the restaurant. As a result, service has been much slower than on previous visits. We've come to accept this. We went in for dinner again last night. Same old story. Find a seat and wait. No, we were not in a hurry, but waiting 15 minutes to get a drink order in at a beer establishment is inexcusable. Our server was new, and was quite nice, so I will cut her some slack, but there seemed to be no sense of urgency. At some point, our server went MIA, and our food was delivered by another server. My burger was cold to the touch and my guess is that it sat in the kitchen waiting for our server to bring it to us. Also, from the looks of things, it appears that longtime partner to the Brass Tap, Carrollwood Brewing has moved out. The brewing equipment, which has long been a focal point in the restaurant, has been removed. There is no longer any Carrollwood Brewery product included on the tap menu, which is unfortunate. I was a huge fan of Carrollwood Nessie! I pulled one star from my previous reviews because of their current state. I am not sure what the future holds for the Brass Tap, but I hope that they pull it back together soon. They are still one of our go-to restaurants in the area and the atmosphere can't be beat if you are a beer lover. read more

Good service, prices are good for the quality of food and nice atmosphere. We ordered the fish and chips and tacos and enjoyed them on our 3 ventures to The Brass Tap. If you go before 6 pm the noise level is good. Later in the evening it is noisy. We will return. read more

Several flawless visits to the Brass Tap earned this place five stars in my book. I enjoyed this laid back brewery before the pandemic, and even more so during. This past year I've appreciated their efforts to combat the spread of the virus. Staff always wore masks. Plus, they opened huge windows to let fresh air in. I can't drink beer but there's always a delicious hard cider for me. The menu offers legitimately gluten-free options. Recently, I tried the Blackened Cod tacos, which were perfect in every way. I always appreciate chefs that think to heat up the corn tortillas. Always been a fan of the Buffalo Cauliflower appetizer. This place has enough TVs to watch every sporting event, and games tend to draw crowds. Casual atmosphere ideal for couples or large groups to enjoy the game with good mixed drinks, brews, delish munchies, and friendly staff. One of Carrollwood's gems! read more

We came in to watch the FSU v UF basketball game (GO NOLES) and found a perfect view of the game in front of a few of the many TVs inside. We ordered some beers and tried some shareable small plates off the happy hour menu - the Brussels sprouts, the Queso and the tater tots. My husband and I started trying out places for brunch on Sundays and thought we'd give them a try and we were not disappointed. We went to the one on South Dale Mabry. The service was great but you should go early like we did because it start's getting pretty full the closer the time gets to football starting. It's definitely a Patriots fan base. Tiana was spectacular! A bunch of tables came in all at once. It was Saturday between 2 and 3. The bar tender was here and there disappearing. Another lady came in but wasn't super useful.
