Very nice area. Lots of shops. Eats. Parking garage. The reason for the review is the water fountain show. It is heavily advertised, music water fire. Etc. every hour on the hour. Multimillion dollar project etc. they played one song and thst was it. My expectation may have been wrong. I was expecting more. This was also the conseses of many people around us as well. There was no fire. Only one song. It does advertise the evening show is a combo show. Not sure. Just sharing. I would not go out of my way or make plans to see this. read more

It's like a slightly bigger, more posh version of Louisiana Boardwalk in Shreveport. I can understand the similarities, it's an efficient lay out. Stores lining left and right side. Be aware that the parking is ample, but can be filled to the brim on the weekend. read more

We went at night on our first day in Branson, and again in the morning on our last. It's a refreshing change of scenery/atmosphere than the rest of Branson, and you get a different vibe in the morning and at night. Beautiful shopping area, cheerful holiday decorations, tasty caramel and hot chocolate warming your senses, and a beautiful boardwalk to enjoy. Beautiful in the fall/winter, and I'm sure it's just as nice in the spring/summer with the jet boat rides and balloon rides. This is a cool area to walk around a d check out some stores. Nothing too exciting. The fountain show was fun and checking out some stores was a nice way to spend some time. Plenty of restaurants, candy stores (I highly recommend Kilwins), clothing stores and a flash round room escape activity. There is plenty of parking in the garage and a little mini train to take you from one end of the stores to the other. Across the street from the landing are some more interesting stores and a vintage train that was pretty cool to check out. Overall a cool place to walk around but I wouldn't come again unless I needed to get to a specific store. read more

The first thing I love about Branson Landing is they are pet friendly. We have a small dog so it is easy to pick her up and walk into stores without a problem. Bass Pro has always allowed pets as long as they are leashed. There are old fashioned looking amphicars that can go on the road and in the water that you can rent. You can also rent a pontoon and take your pet with you! read more

I know we are in the mountains, but we spotted this very city looking outdoor mall and felt like we were at home. Branson Landing outdoor mall is very beautifully designed. Upscale in their look and full of great little shops and anchor department stores. There's Belk on one end, Bass Pro shops on the other, and many fun places in between. We had some of the best Mexican food ever here @ Cantina Laredo our first night as well as my new favorite food discovery, the BBQ chain Famous Dave's. A cute little surprise was the local talent shows performed y the tiny little ladies from the Branson Dance Academy. At one point, they performed in the square without music when power failed during their routine. Love the look and feel of the landing. Can't stand the music they pipe through the lamp posts - it's too LOUD and it competes with every store that also plays music. I understand and expect music on the main landing area but come on, turn it off next to the river. The idea is peace, quiet and tranquility when you walk next to a river. Branson Landing is a unique concept. It combines upscale shopping with dining, entertainment, and luxury condos all set on LakeTaneycomo right in the middle of the Ozark Mountains. As you walk and shop through the Landing you will see lots of entertainment. Jugglers, magicians, dancers, singers (and there is even an occasional Elvis impersonator) all doing their thing. You can stop and watch or just walk by. Kids love it and so do adults. In the middle of the Landing there is a large music, light and water show. In the evening they add 15 foot fireballs into the show for added flare. Shopping ranges from low cost fashion stores to upscale, novelty shops, art gallery, and Branson mementos. There is a little something for everyone at the Landing and even if you don't come to shop just go to admire the beautiful architecture, lakefront views, and fine dining. You will love it! read more

Anchor stores Bass Pro and Belk(what is that?) A lot of the shops you see everywhere else. Candy seems to be a big thing here. Must EAT. Nice fountains. Very pleasant. Outdoor malls, baby! Everyone's do'n it! whatever. Attractive outdoor mall area by the lake. My wife hates outdoor malls, I'm indifferent but kind of prefer indoor malls because I do not get rained on or freeze to death and I do not need faux architecture to make me feel as if I'm doing something cultured or that outdoor malls are more attractive than the cold embrace of a mid 80's food court. In time these outdoor malls will be quite passe. read more

We came to the Branson landing for the 3rd of July fireworks show and it did not disappoint! We had such a great time! We didn't even care that we had to wait for 2 hours and 45 minutes to eat at Cantina Laredo or the fact that there were literally thousands of other people with the same idea! The fireworks show was soooo spectacular! It was kind of short...just 10 or 15 minutes long but sooo worth it. I mean YOLO RIGHT? ;) Oh and after the show, a live band played a couple songs and the fountains and flames kind of popped up with the music. You could feel the heat from the flames which was so cool! Highly recommend doing this! read more

This shopping center is very nice with lots of special attractions. The wide walk-way through the center is very inviting and set up to look like you are wandering through a downtown. Within the center are all of the typical shops - Belk and Bass Pro Shop serving as the anchors with many of the well-known specialty shops filling in the storefronts in between. There are also many activity options to entertain the kids as you shop - zipline, hot air balloon, shooting gallery, old time photos, etc. There was also a small trolley that gave people rides (perfect for a cool night or those tired of walking). There are also several food options throughout the shopping area. And, for those with a sweet tooth, several options for dessert. Branson Landing runs along the waterfront and includes a nice walking path right along the water. There is a beautiful area set up to support the fountain area. However, the fountains were not operating while we were there due to the recent flooding. read more

When did this place expand?!! While family went down just to get out of Springfield. On our way to the fountains I noticed they expanded the landing to the left, and right!!! Only foot traffic allowed, like a pedestrian only outside mall. There are sweet shops, and an arcade along the walk with shopping between. I noticed an Andy B's was on its way in. Along the way back we caught the fountain/fire show which happens on the hour. Definitely a spot to hit if you have a family, the older kids can go to the arcade, Mom can hit a few shops, and dad can grab a beer at the pub. The only issue I see for some folks is parking can be an issue, but hey good job Branson for making this area a bit modern, and realizing not everyone is here to catch an outdated show! read more

My friend and I decided to kill some time and feed our shopping addictions (joke) and decided to check this place out. I was told that you will be bothered by people trying to sell you timeshares, but I was lucky enough not to be bothered. I loved walking around the Landing and parusing the shops. There are numerous food places if you are hungry and also a Bass Pro, although not as cool as the Springfield one, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. I do have to say that this was my first visit, and I was impressed with the choice of shops and also the lack of crowds. There is also a Hilton on site if you need somewhere to stay. Overall, great visit, even if it was a first time. Can not wait to go back and do more damage! read more

We have enjoyed walking around here a couple of different nights during our visit to Branson. The shops are cool and today we ate at moonshine café and built a toy car for my grandson. The restaurant was fine and you can do free samples of the moonshine The moonshine margaritas were good. On the way out of the shopping and dining area, by the parking lot structure (it is pay to park also) we stopped to go to the restrooms. The attendants at the restroom closed them at exactly 9pm and REFUSED to let us use them. This is ridiculous considering the restaurants are still open and people are still walking all around AND they were there. This left a really bad feeling on the visit and this is poor customer service and bad planning to shut down when venues are still open, specifically by the parking where you will be leaving from. It was 9:03pm. This is why I am giving it lower stars. read more

It's an outdoor mall, but on the river, and it's pretty cool to take a seat and watch the big ol' paddle steamers cruise by (is that the correct term?! I'd never seen one before). We came here to see the hourly fountain (and fire - that was a surprise!) shows which we were told were amazing. The shows last as long as whatever song accompanies - in our case, we saw Kung Fu Fighting...which was an interesting choice. Kids loved it, it was a nice free novelty, and if it was 100 degrees outside I might've enjoyed it even more. I bet it's much more impressive in the evening when it's all lit up! read more

Cute place to shop and smell the fresh air. Easy parking on either side of the entrances. There is a shuttle you can catch if you get tired. Bass Pro is on the smaller side here, but still have the pressed pennies here and just around the corner. The light show is nice to see during the daytime or nighttime. read more

Wonderful day shopping with friends - terrific sales help at Belk - Stacy was amazing. Chris at Soma was so helpful and kind, and Rack Room, Chicos, Smith Creek, and Francescas were lovely also - nice merchandise and good service. Lunch at Black Oak was delicious, and Samuel did a great job keeping up with what we wanted. The only black mark on the day was that our car was burglarized - our shopping treasures at Belk will not be coming home with me - and that makes me sad - great shopping finds, gone. Reported the theft to landing security and to local police, who were kind. read more

There is always a light show at the fountain that plays every day. Live music adorns and its a family friendly environment. Was not looking for retail therapy, just stopped off to get a ticket or two for Ride the Ducks, guess what season for many things you want to do has not occurred yet. The booth was closed so we had to go back down 76 and get the tickets. Shame on their advertising, we heard this over and over, until after Memorial Day much of what you want to do has not opened yet. Branson Tourism could disclose the same. This mall was nice, would be more palpable if folks did not smoke and pollute the mall. Prices higher, exactly what you expect so no disappointment, staff in the stores all helpful, not much on sale, so not enticing. Great little kitchen store that pairs with anything Williams Sonoma has but might not fit in your luggage. For SO that do not want to shop, massive amount of seating even in the shade. Very clean, not covered in security, parking was packed but no need to pay for it, just check schedules of the train as that takes a tremendous bite out of the parking and Main street has limited parking and pushes cars/buses over to the mall. Outdoor dining compensates for the cool weather, pleasant place to chill, no skate boarders, nasty graffiti, and yep boats a plenty, thanks Bass Pro Shop. read more

Love this place, has every kind of shop, great selection of places to eat, lots of cool kiosks and a really neat water show that's set to music! The atmosphere is relaxed, the stores are all nice and cold, and the whole area is super clean plus it's right on the river, so if you get tired of shopping, you can watch the boats go by. The sit down zip line looked fun too, but never made it, too many shopping choices all with really good sales! Will definitely visit this place again on our next trip to Branson! It is a great place for the whole family, with plenty of things to keep all ages busy and entertained! Every time we go to Branson I have to stop at the Landing. One of my favorite spots in the town. They are always trying to keep the Landing on trend. I used to feel like the rest of Branson was the old people part and the landing was designed for younger adults in mind. Branson is changing over all now. read more

Shops are a little pricey. Some nice restaraunts. Nice view of the lake. A place where people under 70 can feel more comfortable and the restaraunts are open later. I also stepped into a quilt shop for some info on my ancestral Smoky Mtn quilts. The Ladies in there were both friendly and knowledgeable. They made time just to give me a history of some of the quilts there and quiltmaking in general. I also enjoyed the hot sauce shop. Want to go back to check out the Olive Oil shop and The Piano Bar. Had a nice afternoon cocktail at Joes two days in a row. Margaritas are good and staff is AWESOME!!! Overall, I really liked it. Footnote: Remember! Alot of these folks when they get done serving us, they have to go home and finish re- roofing their homes. EF2 Twister that struck Branson about a month before was NEVER DECLARED A DISASTER AREA! These folks got absolutely NO help to rebuild. My hat is off to those who still took care of us with a smile. MAD KUDOS AND RESPECT!!! read more
