I've always been very particular about who cuts my hair and like most people, once I found a hairdresser I like I stuck with them! My first visit the Boutique Salon in Upminster was early last year and have been a devoted customer ever since. I'd rather skip a cut than go anywhere else. You're made to feel instantly welcome with a pot of tea, a comfy sofa and all the latest glossies to flick through.
For me the one thing (other than the amazing hairdresser) that sets the salon apart is its incredible decor- exactly the kind of style I love with antique style tables, mirrors and chairs. To sum it up the salon is complete elegance, you feel instantly more expensive just being there but, thankfully the cost for a wash, cut and blowdry is extremely reasonable for prices today at just over £30.
I remember I once visitied the salon late after work (the salon stays open late on certain days of the week) and was not only welcomed with a complimentory glass of wine but a 'glass conditioning therapy' which was part of the salon's customer loyalty scheme. Despite being the last cut of the day I was treated as though I was the first (although wine may not have been so readily supplied at 8.30am!). I've always felt thoroughly valued as a customer by Naz and the team and always look forward to my next visit. So if your looking for a great cut, friendly faces and to feel completely pampered head there :)
