Been going to the Woodhill location for vapes for a few weeks now. Today I was startled when I suddenly noticed the clerk checking me out had a pistol stuffed in his waistband. When I asked him about it, he told me they'd had "a lot" of problems in the store lately. When I asked if he was worried about it going off in the store, he grabbed it and shook it around some, I guess to show me that it was in there tight, but it honestly looked like it was about to tumble out. It kind of alarmed me when he reached for it too, because I thought he was going to pull it out. He also said "If it goes off in the store there will be a reason," like he was eager to use it. If the store is so dangerous that employees fear for their lives coming to work every day and need to pack guns, I think it's a place I'm going to avoid from now on. read more

This place is my go to place for body piercing rings/plugs. They have a long counter full of them and are well priced and well organized. Botany Bay sells hookahs, pipes, shisha, coals and other smoking paraphernalia. They also sell posters, some clothing, hats, sunglasses, lighters, incense, candles, incense holders, etc. This is also the new place to go for E cig juice. They have shit tons that line their walls. You can also go in and sample their flavors if you wish. The staff here are super helpful and friendly. Be aware that they also smoke more than the caterpillar from Alice in Wonder Land here. But don't worry it is E smoke. Stop in and see em. I bet you will have to find something in here you will like. I think they also have a frequent shopper card if you shop for smoke things. Quarantine has sent me to my local "Botany Bay" more times in the last few months than I care to count. I frequented the Richmond location during my college days, but since moving to Lexington, I was happy to discover they have another location right around the corner from me! Going to this place feels like you're going to hang out with friends, every single time. There was a really cool blonde lady at the Woodhill location that stands out as the most helpful to me during "curbside" time, but I never thought to ask for her name, as we were always caught up in conversation. :) Today, I was inclined to finally review after my visit! I was helped by a new employee by the name of Neal. He was SO nice, so funny, and super helpful and knowledgeable. It was truly the highlight of my whole day to watch him struggle to curl the bow on my boyfriend's birthday present (after very confidently declaring that he could). I'm thankful for the good vibes and laughter from this dude on a day that I really needed it. :) After 10+ years of doing stuff with things, when given the option of Purple Haze versus Botany Bay, there's literally no question in my mind, Botany is the way to go.
