This is the only bar with a late licence in Stockton Heath, people tell me they have a licence…read moreuntil 2am but in my experience they throw out around 1am. The bar has two floors, the first with a large dancefloor and seating around the edge and the second is more of a balcony circling the downstairs dancefloor meaning the men tend to gather and stare down at the girls dancing below! There are bars on both floors, the queue at the bottom bar can be 3/4 people deep on a weekend night so I would recommend going upstairs to be served quicker. There are always long queues for the girls toilets. They play a mix of music, in fact it can be quite strange with the dj jumping from dance to rnb then throwing a 70s track in randomly, people seem to love it though, it's always busy and the dancefloor is rarely empty. It isn't my ideal bar but places in Warrington are limited and in my opinion this is one of the better options.

It's the only place open after 12 but it is still reasonably priced to get in and the décor is very stylish. Drinks are as expensive as you would expect in a club and it depends on what you have, but the service is also friendly and relatively quick considering how busy it gets. The music is good to have a dance to and the atmosphere is really great making sure that you can finish your night out by dancing the night away!

I seem to becoming a bit of a Warrington yelper!…read more So we visited Toms 101 bar & grill last weekend in stockton Heath, I'm really liking this village. Toms 101 Bar & Grill is a modern restaurant catering throughout the day, they offer afternoon tea, evening meals, Sunday roasts (sounded really good!) & you don't have to have savoury you can just go for dessert! They also do a "late lounge" cocktails, wine, lots of fizz and live music. I had the scallops for starters & the lobster Roll for my main, my partner had the classic burger - it was nice and I would visit again but seemed pricey, from looking at the menu they do have offers on throughout the day and Sunday's we just went at the wrong time! A great place to visit though if you want a relaxing meal, some English cuisine, followed by the pleasure of live music afterwards, family friendly too :-)

Open since 2004, Tom at 101 has now become an institution in the Stockton Heath area. Their expansive drinks menu includes a huge selection of wines from over 60 bins, making it the perfect place for the wine buff. With their well-oiled kitchen team they provide excellent food at a decent pace, as your food never takes too long to arrive. It might also be worth remembering they serve a mind bogglingly good sticky toffee pudding. Despite having a tendency to hire staff for looks rather than brains, the front of house team are usually very capable. Its classy interior and open plan table arrangement means that the atmosphere is always good whether it's full or nearly empty.

Another reviewer noted that this pub needed a spruce up; that was eight years ago. In the interim,…read moresomeone has really taken this to heart and made the Mulberry Tree a smart, clean venue with plenty going for it. It is extremely friendly and has various secluded and open areas to suit almost every taste. There are plenty of large-screen TVs for those interested in sports, but they are not intrusive to those of us who aren't. The selection of drinks is quite impressive although the real ales (plenty of choice) are all the "usual suspects" - Greene King, Bombardier, Speckled Hen for example. We didn't eat there, but the menu seemed to be good and may require a further visit in the future.

The Mulberry Tree is in an excellent location right in the centre of Stockton Heath, unfortunately…read morethe owners do not seem to be taking advantage of this and over the years have let the pub fall into disrepair. The last time I visited there were several buckets dotted around to catch the rain leaking through the roof and the seating was grubby. I have only eaten here once and that was 6 years ago so I doubt it is representative of the food now but as there was a dog hair in my sandwich I am extremely reluctant to ever give the food a second chance. Having said that it's one of only a few places near Stockton Heath that show live sports so it's a good place to go on match days. There is also lots of outdoor seating making it popular in the summer months.
