What drew us to the session was that the purchase of photos was completely optional, which was a huge bonus for us since we were initially unsure if we were going to keep the pictures. Our photographer, Obrayan, was patient, kind, and incredibly helpful throughout the shoot. He had even researched and saved several maternity poses for us to try, which made the experience so much easier. He helped us with our posing and was open to trying new, fun shots, including some in the ocean. Alii Kauai Weddings did the best job helping me plan my dream elopement from Texas. I had never been to Kauai or even on a tropical vacation anywhere and they were always available to answer my questions and helped me plan everything out exactly like I wanted. The moment that I realized I had definitely made the right decision hiring them was when our flight got delayed causing us to miss our connecting flight and we got stuck in Los Angeles the night before our wedding! It was so stressful and I don't know what I would have done without Jessica. I called her and explained what happened and that we would not be able to get a flight until the next day ( Sunday, our planned wedding day). She made a miracle happen and was able to move our wedding from Sunday to Monday: flowers, cake, videographer, photographer, officiant, wedding coordinator and all! I couldn't believe it and was so grateful to not have to go from the airport straight to our wedding! The vendors that she works with were exceptional. The flowers were better than I could have imagined. The cake was delicious. Our pictures and video were perfect. Our officiant was wonderful. The coordinator onsite was helpful and everything ran very smoothly. I couldn't recommend this company more.

We wanted a sunset ceremony at Shipwrecks beach on the south end of Kauai. I must have emailed 5 wedding planners to start with and she is the only one that responded. I'm so glad she was the one because she responded to every single email, always within 24 hours. Everything she has listed online is accurate, pricing for everything is upfront. I wanted to upgrade my bouquet, and my husbands lei, also got leis for guests. I added flowers for my hair pretty close to last minute, I sent her pinterest ideas that I loved and got exactly what I wanted. Seriously, my bouquet could not have been any more beautiful. We chose Harneet for our photographer, so far we have our sneak peek of photos and love them all. I can't wait to see the rest. Kahu Chuck was our officiant and he made our ceremony very Hawaiian, which is exactly what we wanted. Meghan did my hair and makeup and I felt so beautiful. She did an amazing job, exactly what I wanted and I really didn't want to wash it off. My hair stayed perfectly, even with the heavy flower comb in my thin hair, how she did that i'll never know. The day of I emailed Jessica with a request for 2 chairs, we had 2 guests over 70 that we wanted to make sure had a place to sit, she arranged that and Harneet brought them from the north side with him. It never crossed my mind previous that we would want any chairs. He also had umbrellas in case it rained, but the sun was out and the wind died down. After all was said and done, we had the best day. We basically showed up and it was all taken care of. If you are looking for a wedding planner, this is the group you want to go with. Honestly, if I ever got to do it again, we'd use Jessica, she's very professional and great at what she does. I referred her to our flight attendant on our way home who is wanting to get married on Kauai. I really can't say enough good things!

He even chatted with us about Kauai along the way and offered to share recommendations for places to go. We got hit with rain several times, and instead of letting it derail the session, James just rolled with it. We ducked under trees, waited out the showers, and he extended our time so we never felt cheated by the weather. We have daughters who are 2 and 5, and anyone with little kids knows how that goes. They got wet, they got sandy, they had their moments, and James handled every bit of it without missing a beat. Somehow he turned all that chaos into gorgeous photos. He struck a perfect balance too, capturing natural moments as they unfolded while also suggesting poses when we needed a little direction. The photos came out beautiful and we could not be happier. If you want someone talented, patient, and truly fun to work with, James is your guy. Highly recommend.

I finally decided on having the full ceremony taped - I am SO happy that I did!!! Michelle captured moments and emotions that we will get to relive over and over again. Michelle was a pleasure to work with from the very beginning and on the day of our wedding. We were absolutely thrilled with the highlight video, as well as the full video from our ceremony. I think it is also worth nothing that Michelle flew under the radar the entire time - so many people didn't even realize we had a videographer! Which, I believe speaks to how professional and unobtrusive she was. I HIGHLY recommend Michelle, and Zest Kauai!

She came highly recommended by Morgan Childs of Moana Events, and having known Michelle personally for many years, hiring her was an easy choice. To be honest, I was skeptical about needing a videographer, but after seeing just our highlight video alone, I couldn't imagine not having had Michelle there (in fact, I wish we had her stay longer!). Capturing the words of our ceremony, the cocktail reception, our guests reactions when we entered the tent for the first time, the surprise hula I did for my husband, our first dance, and all of the other sounds and words of happiness was so important to me. But the magic really happens during the editing process, and Michelle did a superior job. She blended wonderful moments, words and music together seamlessly, creating a beautiful story of our special day. Not only was the video she produced top-notch, Michelle was on time, professional, and completely inconspicuous (most of our guests saw the video and responded by saying, first, that it brought tears to their eyes and second, that they didn't even realize that we had a videographer there!). No small feat considering all of the cameras etc. that Michelle had with her that day. She was easy to communicate with both before and after the event, and finished our video quickly. When we received our hard-copy video in the mail, it was beautifully and thoughtfully wrapped with a hand-written note from Michelle and stunning still photos she took out from the video that were framed in the leather CD case the disc was in. From beginning to end, it was such a pleasure working with her. We watch our video all the time and it is truly something that we will treasure for a lifetime. If there is one thing you make room for in your budget, make sure it's to have Zest Kauai there to capture your special day. Thank you Michelle!

When my wife and I decided to do a destination wedding in Hawaii, we had no clue where to start. I started out researching photographers and ministers, when I contacted Aloha Ever After and spoke with Timory, I just knew this was the right company and the right people to make our wedding the best it could be. We set our wedding date for Dec.9,2018. (I know, I unintentionally procrastinated with my review.) But our experience was phenomenal and the memory stays with us every day. Timory did an incredible job helping us with information to get the marriage license, flowers, suggested accommodations in the area and even provided great options for the ceremony. after seeing Shipwrecks Beach, we chose that as the place to start our new life. We arranged to have her partner/Husband Joel perform the ceremony and Timory on photography. They were both awesome to work with, in tune with our wishes and exceptional with assisting us the whole way. The ceremony was beautiful, we did a sand ceremony as well and all of the photos were absolutely breathtaking! One of my outstanding memories during the ceremony was Timory asking us to pause briefly to look into the ocean, there was a Manta Ray lingering just off the beach, in front of our location, she said that was a rare occurance at that beach, in fact, she said she hadn't seen that in 20 years of performing weddings at that beach, the locals at the Tidepools restaurant all concurred and didn't believe it until I showed them the photo. we chalked it up as the spirit of our lost loved ones joining our special moment. that was super cool to experience. I truly can't say enough about Aloha Ever After, The prices were more than reasonable, the help with planning was priceless, the team of Timory and Joel and the overall experience is something I'll never forget. We've returned once to revisit for our anniversary and to reflect on the memories. We hope to go again someday to renew our vows and you know my first call will be to Aloha Ever After! Thank You for a job well done!

Keri Cooper is, by far, one of the finest photographic talents in the field! I hired Keri to photograph and film an event of the utmost and delicate importance to me, the Celebration Of Life for my beloved parents. From the start she was instinctively communicative and brought innovative ideas to the table. She also had the inherent sensitivity to know when to push forward and when to back off when planning and producing this justly emotional hallmark of faith and life for us. Keri also had a wide resource of contacts on Kauai to manage the additional details that were needed. I truly could not have asked for more from a professional photographer in producing, managing, and recording this heartfelt observance. During the day of the shoot she was flawlessly prompt, professional, and adroit. She chose angles, positions, and frameworks that I would have never thought of! The results?
