Alii Kauai Weddings did the best job helping me plan my dream elopement from Texas. I had never been to Kauai or even on a tropical vacation anywhere and they were always available to answer my questions and helped me plan everything out exactly like I wanted. The moment that I realized I had definitely made the right decision hiring them was when our flight got delayed causing us to miss our connecting flight and we got stuck in Los Angeles the night before our wedding! It was so stressful and I don't know what I would have done without Jessica. I called her and explained what happened and that we would not be able to get a flight until the next day ( Sunday, our planned wedding day). She made a miracle happen and was able to move our wedding from Sunday to Monday: flowers, cake, videographer, photographer, officiant, wedding coordinator and all! I couldn't believe it and was so grateful to not have to go from the airport straight to our wedding! The vendors that she works with were exceptional. The flowers were better than I could have imagined. The cake was delicious. Our pictures and video were perfect. Our officiant was wonderful. The coordinator onsite was helpful and everything ran very smoothly. I couldn't recommend this company more.

Our photographer, Obrayan, was patient, kind, and incredibly helpful throughout the shoot. Having worked in fashion and show-biz for almost 2 decades now, I've had the pleasure to associate with a wide array of talented and accomplished photographers. Keri Cooper is, by far, one of the finest photographic talents in the field! I hired Keri to photograph and film an event of the utmost and delicate importance to me, the Celebration Of Life for my beloved parents. From the start she was instinctively communicative and brought innovative ideas to the table. She also had the inherent sensitivity to know when to push forward and when to back off when planning and producing this justly emotional hallmark of faith and life for us. Keri also had a wide resource of contacts on Kauai to manage the additional details that were needed. I truly could not have asked for more from a professional photographer in producing, managing, and recording this heartfelt observance. During the day of the shoot she was flawlessly prompt, professional, and adroit. She chose angles, positions, and frameworks that I would have never thought of! The results? Well, they were BEYOND our expectations! No stone was left unturned in inspiring, capturing, and relating the purest essence of Love from our gathering! I would not hesitate to recommend Keri as a solid, innovative, and genuinely EXCELLENT photography professional and totally look forward to hiring her for more events/projects in the future! When I first met her, Keri said, "I do my very best because I always shoot from my heart." It all begins there, for ALL of us, right???

He even chatted with us about Kauai along the way and offered to share recommendations for places to go. We got hit with rain several times, and instead of letting it derail the session, James just rolled with it. We ducked under trees, waited out the showers, and he extended our time so we never felt cheated by the weather. We have daughters who are 2 and 5, and anyone with little kids knows how that goes. They got wet, they got sandy, they had their moments, and James handled every bit of it without missing a beat. Somehow he turned all that chaos into gorgeous photos. He struck a perfect balance too, capturing natural moments as they unfolded while also suggesting poses when we needed a little direction. The photos came out beautiful and we could not be happier. If you want someone talented, patient, and truly fun to work with, James is your guy. Highly recommend.

I finally decided on having the full ceremony taped - I am SO happy that I did!!! Michelle captured moments and emotions that we will get to relive over and over again. Michelle was a pleasure to work with from the very beginning and on the day of our wedding. We were absolutely thrilled with the highlight video, as well as the full video from our ceremony. I think it is also worth nothing that Michelle flew under the radar the entire time - so many people didn't even realize we had a videographer! Which, I believe speaks to how professional and unobtrusive she was. I HIGHLY recommend Michelle, and Zest Kauai!

She came highly recommended by Morgan Childs of Moana Events, and having known Michelle personally for many years, hiring her was an easy choice. To be honest, I was skeptical about needing a videographer, but after seeing just our highlight video alone, I couldn't imagine not having had Michelle there (in fact, I wish we had her stay longer!). Capturing the words of our ceremony, the cocktail reception, our guests reactions when we entered the tent for the first time, the surprise hula I did for my husband, our first dance, and all of the other sounds and words of happiness was so important to me. But the magic really happens during the editing process, and Michelle did a superior job. She blended wonderful moments, words and music together seamlessly, creating a beautiful story of our special day. Not only was the video she produced top-notch, Michelle was on time, professional, and completely inconspicuous (most of our guests saw the video and responded by saying, first, that it brought tears to their eyes and second, that they didn't even realize that we had a videographer there!). No small feat considering all of the cameras etc. that Michelle had with her that day. She was easy to communicate with both before and after the event, and finished our video quickly. When we received our hard-copy video in the mail, it was beautifully and thoughtfully wrapped with a hand-written note from Michelle and stunning still photos she took out from the video that were framed in the leather CD case the disc was in. From beginning to end, it was such a pleasure working with her. We watch our video all the time and it is truly something that we will treasure for a lifetime. If there is one thing you make room for in your budget, make sure it's to have Zest Kauai there to capture your special day. Thank you Michelle!
