Superdrug is a good store for things such as make-up, skin care, hair products and many other…read morethings. I find this store a good place to shop as not only is everything set out in a way where everything is found easily, but also it is also a lot cheaper than certain other stores. It has every basic cosmetic need and despite it being much cheaper, the quality of the make-up is as good as the more expensive version found in other shops and the store is never over crowded. All the staff in any superdrug that I have been to have always been kind, warm, helpful and friendly towards me.

Then I also got artificial hair extentions - I know, it is not a real stuff, but very good price and it is good for image changing or hiding natural hair if its a bit difficult to control or simply needs a haircut.

The store is colourful and it's large space means it can hold a great number of props, wigs and costumes, but watch out because it can get extremely busy around seasonal holidays. Although the store is full of the weird and wonderful it is over priced, in my opinion, and the staff are not always the friendliest. When you walk in you expect this to be an amazing party shop, because of it's size and vibrancy, but instead you get a shock when a tiny pot of fake blood will cost you over a fiver! I recommend finding another party shop, if you can, to save yourself some pennies.

However, the technician was the most poorly trained lady I have come across in all my years of getting waxes. This time, I was highly disappointed. I explicitly asked for "just a tidy-up" and a natural finish. I was slightly concerned when her poor control of the wax spatula ended in my entire wrist (and watch...) being covered in wax for the heat-test, but just put this down to clumsiness. Unfortunately, I will now have to walk around with the results of her incompetence visible to the world for the next month. My formerly bushy, full, and well-kept eyebrows have been reduced to two uneven lines a few hairs thick. The arches don't even fall in the same place above each eye! One eyebrow is half as thick as the other (I measured it with a ruler!), and they don't start and end in vaguely near the same place. The worst, however, is that, instead of having a smooth lower edge, one eyebrow is totally jagged, with hairs missing vertically through the brow - which looks ridiculous. Ironically, the lady then tried to sell me a gel to 'fill in sparse patches' - which she herself had just created! Of course, you get so covered in make up and powder that you don't notice the effect until you get home and wash all the gunk off. Otherwise I would have complained immediately and directly. All in all, I am extremely disappointed. I will never go to another Benefit counter again now I know how poorly some of the staff are trained. Please, save your brows and your money and go elsewhere!

This shop is both unique and has very high potential. I recently went to Lush with my friend, and gosh, isn't it a bundle of fun? There is so much to choose from! Hair care, Hand Cream, Bath Bombs. You name it! We were in there for hours! Even if your on a budget or if you don't even intend on buying anything. The staff are so friendly and can answer all your questions on their products, the lady serving me had actually used the product I had and reccommended and advised me, she even gave me a copy of 'The Lush Times' which both my friend and I had no idea it existed! As well as a good read, it is also very informative, as everything is! Don't know quite what to buy? You can ask! Recently I didn't know what to get my mother for mothers day, so I asked the staff and they told me you can test them, so I went to test one, they have almost every soap availible as a tester, handy? She then got closer and said "Excuse me I'm talking to you" in a very impolite manner. I then looked at her and asked for a my shade and she said I had to get it from the drawer. I assumed she meant the draws under the counter so I reached for it and she practically yelled at me saying she had to go and get it. When she came back she just handed it to me and didn't even look me in the eye and walked off. The lady at the counter who took my money (I didn't catch her name) was alright but not great. I get that the store is tiny and busy but that's no excuse to be so rude to your paying customers. I will be buying online from now on, if at all.
