For my (new) husband and I, one of the biggest factors we were looking for when searching for…read morewedding vendors was responsiveness. You could hire the fanciest stylist and most well-known makeup artist in Toronto, but what if they take 10 days to reply to your email or only give you the time of day a week before your wedding? That might not be a problem to some couples, but it was to us. It actually took awhile for us to find a makeup artist in Toronto who a) didn't have certain demands regarding travel, packages, etc., b) didn't take 5 days to respond to us, c) actually showed genuine compassion and interest in their work and craft, and for their client. I met Daniela a few months before our wedding, and knew she was the one! Out of over 20 makeup artists in Toronto that I contacted, she was the only one who suggested an in-person meeting to talk about my wedding. Honestly, I can't even express how much I appreciated that. She came to our meeting prepared, actually took the time to take notes and understand what I'd be wearing, the look and style I was going for, etc. I knew from the very start that, with Daniela, I was in very good, talented, and responsible hands. And as a bride, trust in your vendor is so key - and I trusted Daniela fully! On our wedding day, Daniela came early and prepared, and was totally unfazed when my mom changed her mind about what she wanted. She is the epitome of creativity, talent, and professionalism. And most importantly - I loved the look she gave me on our wedding day! She can do so many types of looks, and can totally diversify if you ask her to. Show her a picture of what you want - and she'll replicate it. She is so incredibly talented, and you absolutely can't go wrong with choosing her to do your makeup, for whatever occasion, wedding or otherwise! Thank you so much, Daniela, for being a part of our wedding day! Her service is an experience beyond 5 stars.

My make-up looked beautiful and I had loads of compliments about it all day. Daniela even gave me my own tube of touch-up gloss to go, so that I could keep myself looking fresh all day. She has a great set up with fabulous lighting and she did my make-up in a beautiful, natural look. She's also a very warm person and great conversationalist, even managed to make me forget I was getting married in several hours and I felt quite calm after. Thanks Daniela!!

Perfection is an understatement here. Both Hafsa and Pam are such kind ladies, I was having so much anxiety because of how stressed I was, they let me vent to them and gave me support and encouragement on my big day. Thank you so much Hafsa, I always imagined what I would look like as a bride one day and you made my dreams come true! You were a big part of making my wedding the best day ever! After some persuasion, I agreed to have a makeover done during one of the 'ladies' nights' that a friend of mine had organized. Rachel Renna was the makeup artist that they had hired for the evening. It didn't take long for me to figure out that Rachel is no ordinary makeup artist. She is the next big thing (mark my words). She is one of the most talented artists I have ever come across, and that's including all the encounters I've had with makeup artists throughout my TV career. The thing about Rachel is that she just 'gets' her clients' style. She had one look at me and knew exactly what I would love and what I would hate. Above and beyond that, she handles a brush like no one I've met before. The way she builds, the way she blends, the way she shapes brows... OH MY! The truth is, my words cannot do Rachel's talent justice. She is the best there is when it comes to makeup artistry (I've attached the pictures to prove it) and it wont be long before she becomes an industry leader. You better get in on this while you still can because now that the word is officially out, her waiting list just got a helluvah lot longer.

If you have a chance, book Betty as your main stylist! Booking: Betty's communication with her clients is excellent. She is reachable by email, Facebook, instagram, etc. and her replies are always efficient. I booked my bridal makeup services with her through email without hassle. I took advantage of their Valentine's day promotion and had a piece of accessory included with my package. The price was reasonable and was able to include styling for my bridesmaids and my mother. Pre-event Consultation: Betty has great attention to details . She asked for vendor contacts and sample work so she can see the style of photography to match the looks. She considers your dress designs and theme as well. The accessories rental are all available at her studio for you to pick and she is flexible and makes great recommendations. A detailed schedule and skin care tips are shared so everyone can get ready for the big day ahead of time. I did not do a trial with Betty but her team pulled through all the looks with ease. Day-of Service: Team arrived before the scheduled time and was set up and ready to go within minutes. The team worked together so transition was smooth. Great tips were given as well as an emergency touch-up kit. She also helped me adjust my dress to make me feel grounded and ready for the hectic day. I had the team come on-site. The travel fee was minimal and I think it's worth the money spent. All the makeup is included, false lashes were included, and airbrushing is available for a small fee. My makeup stayed in tact for the day with no problems! Highly recommend this team for any styling / beauty needs!
