It looks like I swam in a deeply chlorinated pool. I wanted to keep the same overall look I had before -- a warm blend of dark brown and blonde highlights -- but with just a bit more brown added. Most importantly, I asked for the two face-framing pieces in the front to be left solid brown instead of highlighted blonde. That's it. Unfortunately, Tanya was dismissive of my request and pushed back instead of listening. Throughout the appointment, she seemed distracted -- frequently singing along to music and losing track of where she was in the process, which led to uneven highlights. While I don't mind a stylist enjoying their work, I do expect focus and professionalism when I'm paying for a service. The end result was not what I asked for. My hair turned out overly ashy -- both the brown and the blonde -- which was completely different from the warmer tones I had before. The partial highlight didn't blend with the rest of my hair, leaving a harsh contrast between the new and old color. When I brought this up, Tanya insisted she used the same toner as last time, but later admitted she left it on too long. To "fix" the issue, the salon offered two options: wash it a few times and see if it improves, or come back for a full highlight or toner adjustment. Neither of these options addressed the fact that my original request wasn't followed, and both would require more of my time and potentially more money. As a full-time working single mom, I don't have the flexibility to return for corrections that stem from someone else's mistake. For over $300, I expected my hair to be done professionally and correctly the first time. If a mistake is made, the salon should take ownership and say, "You're right -- let's fix it." Instead, I was met with deflection and vague justifications. When I asked for a discount, they reluctantly offered a small one after calling a manager, which felt like pulling teeth. I also asked Tanya directly if I had ever requested an ashy tone -- she wouldn't give me a straight answer and kept deflecting. It felt like she was more focused on defending her choices than taking accountability. In my opinion, Tanya lacks the attention to detail and communication skills necessary for customized color work. If you're looking for a stylist who truly listens and delivers consistent, professional results, I would not recommend her. With the manager currently on maternity leave, there was no one available to ensure quality control -- and unfortunately, my hair paid the price. read more

I have been waiting to get in for a while and was very excited. I came in for a balayage and I don't notice a lot of difference in my hair even though I paid upwards of $350. Everyone was nice and it was a beautiful salon but I'm not impressed with the way my hair looks. BE AWARE.... I always loved the services I received and the environment. However, I had a 9am appointment on a Friday was when they opened. On the Thursday prior I woke up with flu symptoms. I called as well as sent text messages. My appointment was with Lindsey. As I realized my appointment was a lengthy one and didn't hear back I showed up. Unfortunately, due to Lindsey be at risk due to a condition she wasn't able to see me. The issue l had a problem with was I received a text message that I would be charged a 50% cancelation fee for not providing a 48 hrs notice. If I could put zero stars, I would. my daughter has been a longer-standing client and some of her appointments would run around $500+. today she overslept and was very sick,contagious even and we were still charged the full $300 expected fee and then they wanted to reschedule her for another $300 with a 50% deposit to be paid in advance. Given that she had been going for a while and did not miss appointments for almost a year , It was disappointing that they would not work with us on the cost. Yes we took a slot up but are (were) a very regular customer. I do not recommend this place -many other places do not charge you the full service fee if you miss the appointment, due to uncontrollable circumstances, Any common sense business would work to retain a client who has paid thousands and all tthousands over the months. Also my daughters last service turned my daughters hair silver. The assistant Haikey left the toner on way too long. Further the environment is others unprofessional with them often gossiping about clients in front of clients.
