We purchased 2 1/2 inch louvre, plantation shutters to fit seven windows from Jamie Taylor at…read moreBudget Blinds in Erie. Jamie responded quickly to all phone messages and emails. He was polite and careful in terms of measuring the windows and making sure the shutters were mounted properly. I am beyond pleased with the shutters. The mid rails, push rods all contribute to the slightly more traditional look I was seeking while maintaining a contemporary feel. The finish matches our wood work perfectly and the shutters look beautiful!

Quick response. Very professional. I will use them again and refer to friends and family.read more

Went there thinking we would find plantation shutters and were very surprised at how small and…read moreunprofessional a company they were with very little selection of what we needed. Were greeted by a young woman, who seemed to be baby sitting her child as well as showing what they had available. They sent a older male rep. to our home who was clueless - very confused, re. what we were looking for (open top & bottom & split in the middle plantation shutters). He proceeded to make up an estimate sheet which we received by mail later (via mail), and still the estimate was confused. The official owner/salesman must have thought our sale wasn't worth his time (not big enough of a sale) to bother to come out himself, and instead sent this older man, instead. I have to say, I felt sorry for this older man as I thought he should have been retired. So, we wasted a good portion of our time we could have used on some other impt. project. We went elsewhere to get what we needed.

Let's get the record straight there is only one true Awning Shop in ERIE…read moreAnd that is Al's awning shop nobody is capable of taking the care and time that Al,s Awning shop does. My Awning is about 20 years old and if you take the time to let Al's Awning shop repair what is needed before your awning goes into storage your awning will last for along time, You have to spend money on your awning for it to look good if one wants to be cheap I recommend you take your awning down and put it up By yourself and store it in your garage. If you want your awning to last so You can enjoy it you will come into the shop like a human being and I mean respectful and talk to the staff they will take you under their wings and welcome you. And give you the service you are looking for. If you want your awning to go up on a specific day and come down on a certain day it is an extra 50.00. Storage is 85.00 a year and then have your awning checked out and pay for the repairs. If any one thinks they can bid a job against Al's they are really fooling themselves. You get what you pay for nobody is giving anything away. Al's awning has been making Awning's in Erie for many years and knows what they are doing, I don't want to see anyone get ripped of that's why I am saying go in and talk to the staff at Al's they have beautiful awnings all set up on the floor they will design an awning that will make your home look fantastic and with proper care you will get many use of enjoyment out of your awning. I am writing facts and the truth I just say it the way it is. You don't get anything for nothing. You want quality pay for it and take pride in your home. Thanks Richie Bayne If people call or go into the shop Amber will return your call since 2002 if have been dealing with Al's please do not post negative comments about a business go into the shop and talk to Amber she will take care of you. Be respectful and kind and you will have the world by the tail. Act like a jerk and you will end up with nothing. Give Amber a chance to assist you and she will.

Their service has always been professional, friendly and timely, whether you are talking with Ashley in the office, or the guys at your home. Last fall during take down, Jose mentioned that we should consider new awnings as ours were at the end of their lifespan with noticeable holes and rips. It's a big investment but after checking around we found their pricing was very competitive. Jamie and Michelle, co-owners, were wonderful to work with throughout the entire process. In the end, Jose was right! The new awnings are beautiful and add an incredible value pop to our home! Highly recommend!
