We were looking for blinds for our new home. After measuring our windows, we quickly realized that finding those exact sizes at the store wasn't gonna be easy. I looked up blinds vancouver washington & this was the top one. After reading many 5 star reviews, I was sold. I called & Vicki answered & we scheduled an appointment for Dale to come out that same week. Dale was so nice & was very quick to measure all the windows. We went with blinds that close all the way shut. I had never seen that before where the bottom panel sits flat making it really dark. We paid half our deposit & waiting game started. Vicki did say that it would take about 4 weeks. Closer to about our 4.5 week mark, I called & our blinds had just come in over weekend. Again, I was able to schedule a time that week for their son Cam to come install them. She mentioned it would take about an hour to an hour & a half. Nope, that guy was quick. He had it done in less then an hour. We are so satisfied with our blinds. You can tell how great quality they are. Service from the whole family was great from start to finish. It is rare that you can get same week appointments anywhere. Check them out if you need some blinds read more

We contacted The Blind Guys without knowing anything about them. From the first few moments of the first call I knew I was dealing people that cared about customer service. I had a warranty issue on a Hunter Douglas blind I bought 10 years ago from someone else. Here we are about a week later and a new replacement blind is installed. Thank you Dale and Vickie! read more

I purchased blinds from a big box store, and paid for installation. Over a month later and was still getting the run around so I called The Blind Guy. A couple days later they are installed. Thanks! read more

Very knowledgeable man unfortunately he won't be in business past this year he is retiring he saved me a ton of money on my Blind repair

Spoke w/ Vickie as i needed a blind repaired (not theres, here when i bought the house) and she was TREMENDOUSLY helpful. She gave me several contacts who do do repairs, and was even willing to help me hunt down a part. I'm not quite ready to buy new blinds but when i do, i know i'll give Vickie another call. read more

Dale and Vicki are just the best. We had cordless "up and down" shades put in a few years ago and we are very happy with them happy with them. The verticals in our bedroom had a vane fall off in a place that allowed a lot of light in. I called and set up an appointment with the ever positive Vicki and Dale came out and looked at it. I thought we would have to replace the blinds completely but he explained it could be fixed rather easily. So we chose that route for now but when we do decide to change it out this is the only blind person I would consider. Very professional, reasonable and so honest!! read more

These guys are amazing! I've used them on my last house and it was a no brained to use them for this one. They are extremely professional, helpful, and friendly. Dale gets the job done quickly and perfectly. Just called them about another blind after a year and they were right on it. Their customer service is unparalleled and truly care for their customer. Five star. Dale & Vicki are amazing. From first call to schedule estimate til the day of installation everything went smoothly. Communication is superb. They carry quality products at affordable price. Dale's recommendation for my need is on point. Don't even bother going the big Orange store or that other Blue store. Dale have anything that you want and have much much better service. If I need window coverings in the future I will only use the Blind Guy. read more

We had a smooth order and installation of shutters throughout our new home Thanks to Dale and Vicki! Read the reviews about other customers' experiences with them and decided to give them a try. We weren't disappointed! Vicki clearly communicated the installation process and Dale was personable and highly skilled regarding the custom fit required in each window to ensure that the shutters looked and functioned as they should. The turn around for the shutters was earlier than expected! Dale was upfront about how long it would be from factory to home when we ordered, so the only surprise we had was a positive one when we had them installed sooner. Our overall experience, from the customer service to the final product in our home, gave us a lasting impression that The Blind Guy has built a company based on dependable results that we wouldn't hesitate to use again. read more

I recently purchased a house and the prior owners didn't leave a single window covering. Which we didn't notice until we were about to move in. Needless to say, we felt like we were in a fishbowl. Dale with the Blind Guy came very HIGHLY recommended by some prior clients as well as some of my personal friends. I called to schedule an appointment with Vicki-who was also amazing to work with!! Got Dale to come out and offered some great suggestions on blinds for the 11 windows and one door in my home. Got scheduled and was told about 2 1/2- 3 weeks before my order came in. No biggie. We had black paper temporaries up for now. Right at the three week mark, Vicki called me and was able to get me scheduled the SAME day that the order came in, both of them worked so well with my work schedule. Met them BOTH at my house on my lunch hour and came home to a whole new perspective on my house. Thank you, Dale and Vicki!!! I won't need blinds anytime soon, but if something comes up, I know where I am going!!! They will NOT disappoint!!!! Thank you guys again SOO much!!! read more

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Start to finish Dale and his team did a great job. Dale came to our newly built house to talk about what we wanted, took all the measurements, and was friendly and knowledgeable. They are very good at communication as well - Vicki kept us up to date as to when our shutters would come in so we didn't have to wonder. Dale's son (sorry I don't know his name!) came and put up temporary shades while we waited for ours to be installed. Installation day went smoothly - they came on the original date we set up, no delays in the schedule. Dale and his son were professional and courteous (took off their shoes inside the house!). The shutters turned out beautifully and the color perfectly matches the trim around our windows. They even were so kind as to help me bring in a few items that were delivered to my front porch while they were there that were too heavy and bulky for me to bring in by myself. I highly recommend them. Thanks guys! read more

We've used Dale and his company, for all our window coverings, over the years. He always does the best job helping us choose the most attractive option AND at the best price. We would never use anyone else... Thanks Dale, The Blind Guy! read more

This is the second time we've used Dale at theblindguy.com. The first was about 12 years ago in our last house. He did a great job and he was just starting out. This time, he was just as friendly and the years have only made him better at what he does which is understand our budget, the look we wanted and found the best window treatment to fit our needs. We've had many, many problems with the building of our new house and Dale is one of maybe 2 contractors/suppliers who met or exceeded our expectations. We just called his office for some help on window treatment without using his services and they gladly referred me to another company. Who does that these days? read more

My husband and I bought a new home and needed window coverings for the entire home. I wasn't sure what would look good in the house, but when Vicki came over with all the samples and options she made it easy and fun! Her opinion on colors, type, and function for each room was so helpful. We ended up using all of her ideas and I am IN LOVE with hoe the house looks and feels with our new window coverings. The remote control blinds are amazing. Dale installed the blinds and they are perfect. We loved The Blind Guy so much, we hired them again to install blinds in my husband's office, and once again, they look and function perfectly. read more

Excellent! We booked an appointment for a free home consultation. Dale was thorough in presenting info and pricing about the blinds and quick and accurate in measuring our windows. He also installed them a couple of weeks later. They look great and function exactly as explained to us. Thank you Dale and Vickie for the quality product and outstanding service. read more

I called The Blind Guy based on Yelp reviews and I wasn't disappointed. I would echo all the great things previously mentioned and would not hesitate to call them again if I need additional window coverings. Vicki was very helpful and courteous at every step in the process. Dale was so efficient and very professional while still being friendly and outgoing. He listened to my ideas and was able to make them happen. He gave me an estimate, entered the order, took my deposit, emailed me the order and receipt, and all business was concluded before he left. He also did the installation and once again, did it quickly and professionally. I would highly recommend The Blind Guy. read more

After careful assessment and consideration of three window covering companies for our new home, clearly The Blind Guy was the front runner. Vicki and Dale are an awesome team working closely to ensure the best customer service and product delivery. They are professional, informative and extremely reliable. The most significant difference, The Blind Guy stands behind their product and installation. After months of our successful installation, our choice of blind in one room became dissatisfying. Vicki and Dale treated us the absolute same as a new customer. Dale troubleshooted and presented options. He worked with the blind vendor, who agreed to a satisfying outcome. New blinds were installed as soon as Dale received them. I cannot say enough about this reliable team. Clearly the most outstanding blind company in the SW Washington area. You cannot go wrong selecting these professionals. read more

We ordered our blinds from Dale and he quoted us 2 weeks and they arrived 8 days later. He called and installed them the very next day. We are extremely pleased with the craftsmanship as well as his service. We will recommend The Blind Guy to everyone we know. Thanks Dale read more

I never knew what an impact blinds could have on the enjoyment of my home--and I wouldn't if I hadn't worked with Dale. We've worked together over the last several months to choose the best solutions for my window-covering needs. I now have ridiculously cool automatic blinds on the six lower and four upper bay windows in my great room and one in my kitchen. He recently installed a manual vertical across my sliding door to match the others. Our masterpiece solution for dividing my master from my office is currently being constructed, and I can't wait for Dale to install them. Oh...did I not mention that not only does Dale come out, measure, and work with you to select the perfect custom blinds, but he also installs them himself? Yep; he does. That is critical, in my view. You know from A to Z, Dale is your point person and will be responsible throughout the process. I highly recommend Dale...The Blind Guy (who sees quite well)...for all your window covering needs. read more

Dale and Vicki were great to work with. Very good communicators, and absolute no pressure sales atmosphere. Dale even felt that one of our blinds was not "quite right" and had it replaced. We didn't notice it but clearly he's got more experience and knows when something might cause issues down the road. Would definitely use them again! read more

We had just renovated a home and needed blinds on every window. Dale came to our home with lots of samples to see and touch. We went with the faux wood white blinds for all the windows except the sliding door to the deck. When we told Dale we didn't like vertical blinds, he showed us a wonderful sliding accordian type of blind. It was fabric and we were able to pick a lovely slate gray that looked great with our walls and the faux wood white blinds on either side. After we ordered he was back in about 2 and a half weeks with the blinds and installed them all in just under three hours. He showed us how to pull them and about the safety features if a child got hung in the pulls. He also recommended the best way to clean them. His office manager, VIcki, was also great about calling us when Dale was able to come sooner because of cancellations or a visit taking less time than expected. We highly recommend Dale and The Blind Guy company for your window coverings. We had a very positive experience. read more
