This is a fantastic student bar!…read more I have been going to The Park (or Park) for quite sometime now. It's a great student bar with very good drinks prices. It has plenty of special offers with quids night on a Thursday. The Park is a scream pub, and therefore if you are a student, you can get a yellow card inside, getting you money off drinks (example, a double of JD&Coke costs £3.50, with yellow card it's £3.00). The food isn't great, but it's what you'd expect from a place like this, if you're hungry, you'll eat it. They don't serve food 'til late however, so don't expect to be in there near closing getting food. The staff are very friendly, bouncers included. I've never experienced any major problems inside or outside of the place. They have a small area out back for smokers, and usually have outside heaters, when they're working. All round, a very good place to start or end a night!
